Ceinwin Hello everyone
I've found this group today and joined immediately because i love the mystery/crime genre. My love for this genre started when I read The Mystery of the Yellow Room when I was a child and never stopped since then.
Now I'm a fan of Michael Connelly's Harry Bosch series.
I can't wait to get to know you all and have some great discussions here.

Bonjour Ceinwin. (That's about the extent of what is left of my high school French!) Welcome to the group.

Have you read any of the books by Fred Vargas? So far I have only read This Night's Foul Work but it was very good. More in the series are now available in English so I am looking forward to them.

Fred Vargas is such a good author -- I've collected all of her books starting with Chalk Circle Man.

Ceinwin @Donna : I've only read Have Mercy on Us All: A Novel from Fred Vargas, and I enjoyed it a lot. I think it is her most famous novel (in France anyway) it has even been made into a movie http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0446707/

@Hayes : you should definitely give The Mystery of the Yellow Room a try, it's soo good (don't mind the first chapter which can seem a bit dull, it becomes great after that)
