message 78: by Rebecca NJ (new)

Rebecca NJ (njreader) | 2120 comments "The Girl Who Chased the Moon" was different and it was an interesting read. It was the first book I've ever read by Sarah Addison Allen and from what I understand, she focuses a lot the magic-realism genre. It wasn't the genre that bothered me. I started to lose interest more because I wasn't really sure who/what the story was about and it seemed choppy.

Suzanne (Under the Covers Book blog) Oh that's a shame, I really liked it, but then I am a massive fan of hers! You should try The Sugar Queen by Sarah Addison Allen , that is a brilliant book, and IMO better the tGWCtM. :)

Really, Sans why not an editor? Oh man, I would love to work as a publisher but the book world is so iffy and competitive. I think being a reviewer is hard because you'd be competing with a million other reviewers and bloggers.

The editor route might be a bit difficult for me if I have to worry about typos and being grammatically correct. Of course on some of the books I have read, I think I might have done a better job of it than thier actual editor.
