What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

help, I'm going crazy. THere is some series that everyone has been *raving* over for a couple of years at least, written by Diana somebody. I could have sworn it was Gabaldan or something like that, but I cannot hit on the right name.

All I know about it is that it's a little sci-fi ish, maybe time-traveler and I believe I've heard comparisons to the Highlander and medicine women?

I'm feeling totally dense.

OK, I knew I'd come up with it as soon as I posted. But mostly because once I was here, I remembered someone posted about it on one of these threads, and amazingly enough, I found it again. Diana GabaldOn's Outlander series.
