Book freaks discussion
What are you currently reading?

They are pretty good, definately good enough to screw up my normal sleeping pattern... Monday will be tough..
I wish i had read it when i was younger, though, it's kind of like reading the first HP books again, feeling a bit unable to relate to a 12 yo protagonist.. But still, Great adventure :)
Probably wont sleep tonight either..

Oh, how is that so far? I'm debating whether I should read it.

I'm most definitely starting The Forest of Hands and Teeth, and it's a re read for me. Purely because I have the sequel with me and I need a refresher.

Then I recieved an ARC of this book so I'm reading it for review

So far I'm not particularly thrilled which is disappointing because I've heard such great things about it. I'm still in the exposition though so maybe it is just a slow starter.

Oh my goodness, such a good book. :D One of my favorites, no doubt.
I didn't like Hush, Hush because it felt like the romance is just going in circles. It lacked some real action for me. I guess just coming from reading Clockwork Angel, it didn't impress me so much.
I guess it's just personal preference. (:

It is a long and very detailed set up that is critical to all the rest of the novels. The author did not craft a simple murder but a very involved and complicated conspiracy that is unheard of today with the instant novels.

i'm reading the second book of the HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE, and i'm also reading Olive's Ocean

I am reading the same books! The Hornet's Nest starts very slow because the author drives the story more by narration than by action and characters but the story is still as good.

Yes! I have it on DVD I liked it so much! Have put off reading it because I liked the film so much and didn't want to compare the book to that, which is always wrong! But I really loved birdsong and a friend said it was just as good if not better so off the shelf it came. I've actually had the book since it came out and it's now yellowing!
