I love when I can double up books myself, I had already put this in as one of my August Challenge books!

I need to finish the Night Huntress series, and read then read too. I've been told that I'll be lost if I don't catch up on Cat and Bones first. Maybe by some miracle, I'll be able to join you guys in reading this one.

Now in the another group that's reading this, they said you don't have to read First Drop of Crimson. I'm hanging my hat on that.

Since this is just SET IN the Cat and Bones world, I don't really see why you have to have read the entire series first. I know for the first one you didn't have to be up-to-date to get it.

And I too have this sitting in my tbr pile just screaming at me to pick it up and READ IT RIGHT NOW. Unfortunately, so far this month I'm a little behind on my reading. Too many other things going on. :o(

I have started this book, and I agree that you don't need to read any of the Night Huntress series or Night Huntress World books prior to this one. However (only my opinion), you will not appreciate the hero (Mencheres) as much because he's really not a character that is much liked in the series, but in Eternal Kiss of Darkness I can't help but feel sympathetic to him. I'm LOVING this book so far! :o)

I finished Eternal Kiss of Darkness- I LOVE it! My favorite book from either the Night Huntress or Night Huntress world series (IMHO). I love both Mencheres and Kira! :o) I hope you guys enjoy it too!!

I know I probably won't read it anytime soon, but I'm going to the used bookstore today to see if they have this one in. I just wish the cable man would hurry up and get here. True Blood is coming on tonight, so the cable is a priority!

HBO-on-demand is a WONDERFUL channel. Just a thought if he doesn't make it in time Michelle.
