Ya i haven't evn read the book but it didn't seem like it was that good and i figured people that had read the books would be angry.

It's not really very much like Harry Potter or the Hunger Games. Sure it's fantasy but its humorous too.

well yes but my friends that like Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Twilight, Mediator, and such like I do tend to like Percy Jackson too. Even if it's not the type, it could just be that they're all good books.

Yeah! Just like the Inkheart movie! It was nothing like the book! (Well, mind you, I didnt like the 2nd and 3rd books, so I probably wouldnt like the movie too)
that's true, I enjoyed Inkheart, but it was really hard to get past the beginning
i liked Inkheart... but i also didn't like A Series of Unfortunate Events even though a lot of my friends did, but I just didn't.
Yes it was Caitlin!! To me at least and confusing too. I liked The Series Of Unfortunate Events. It was good to me but it was kind of weird and confusing but in all I liked the whole series.
Gosh it gets better Courtney. I understand a lot of books are boring in the beginning but you got to get really good into the book before you should put it down.

i agree for sure. Zoha like in the beginning it introduces the characters and setting and if the characters and setting are boring or unrelatable, which also makes me dislike a book, then the whole book is likely to be the same. I don't mean to put words in Caitlin's mouth but i figured thats what she meant. (Hehe I'm spelling her name right now without even thinking about it. Just noticed.)

have y'all ever read Life As We Knew It?
i read the book The Dead and the Gone which is by the same author on the same subject
i liked it, but not Life As We Knew It
mostly because i hated the main character in Life As We Knew It

the ones that are mean, but everyone wants to be their friend because they are "cool" or "pretty"
I didn't quite get that from her, I mean I didn't really like her and she might have been spoiled but prissy???
