Kristopher | 23 comments I had a series of books when I was a child that we got overseas. They dealt with 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls who would always get together on holiday/vacation. I think it was a brother/sister brother/sister setup. Anyhow, they would get together on holidays where ever and solve mysteries. I remember one of the mysteries where they worked together in a castle. Sorry, I know this isn't much/any information, but any help I could get would be greatly appreciated.

Sarah | 7 comments This is probably too obvious to be right, but my first thought was the Enid Blyton stories, most likely 'Famous Five', though that was two brothers, a sister and a cousin (and a dog)

It's probably not that but I may as well mention them :)

CLM | 311 comments Maybe it's Blyton's Adventure series: one is called the Castle of Adventure. The children are Jack and his sister Lucy-Ann, and Philip (always with a mouse or something in his pocket), his sister Dinah, and don't forget good old Kiki the Parrot! The series begins with Mystery Island, also published as The Island of Adventure.

Definately one of the Blyton series. She had like 4 or 5 different ones. Try your local library--I know that my library still has 25 of her titles in stock (U.S. library system, not U.K.) and she seems to still be popular with kids.

Kristopher | 23 comments Sorry it took me so long to get back. I'm looking at some of Blyton's books and they look vaguely familiar. I'm going to wager the 83¢ at Amazon.com and give it a shot. Thanks everyone!
