SHARLA SHANGELING TO DIVULGE THE SECRET OF THE SUNDANCE CAVES,
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS MAGIC
i.e. new media publishers to release The Secret of the Sundance Caves on August 8, 2008 in a secret virtual Second Life event.

The Secret of the Sundance Caves, a new West Indian Independent Novel by the young, up and coming novelist Sharla Shangeling.
It features plainspoken thirteen-year-old Karys Kitane, invisible to her parents and often abused by her schoolmates. The fact is she does not quite fit into the sterile Caribbean suburb where she lives. So when a letter arrives in which Great Aunt beckons her to a wild and fantastical hill on the other side of the island, she happily embarks on an enchanted adventure, where she will learn to recognize her courage, strength and power.
Karys will dare destiny as she takes the helm through a magical West Indian landscape to meet mystical characters such as Human Male and in due course become an epic heroine confronting an ominous creature lurking in the Sundance Caves. Ultimately, fate intervenes and she unearths one of the darkest secrets that will unlock all the magic of the mythic world.
Make no mistake- When they said “There is No Such Thing as Magic”… they lied!
i.e. new media produced its book through a new publishing paradigm:
-Green Lite Publishing that is heaven & earth friendly. It reduces paper use and energy for shipping etc.
-High Tech. Web 2.0 centred e-Books, Kindle, Goodreads.com, and all the lot.
-Brings a marginalized independent female West Indian voice to the main stream
-Swims upstream.
Sharla Shangeling is a storyteller of great insight and wisdom. She is ancient and not of this world—part mystic, part fairy, she has taken many forms and her travels have allowed her to witness the unimaginable, which she can no longer resist disclosing. Behold the folktales and myths of the land of Bekano are now at your fingertips. Make no mistake—the world is a magical place!
