I want to go canoeing before summer ends. I also want to sunbathe... or get a tan. And I'd like to spend a Saturday at the Ozark Folk Center.I've done none of the above yet. :(

The Washington County School District started classes today. Summer is over for most kids around here. The charter schools start in about two weeks.
The schools in WI can not start till after Labor Day. But they have started football practice.
I have 2 1/2 more weeks left of my holidays and I want to go and do some more photography, go and visit my parents and tidy the flat. I also want to make a couple of dresses and build our bed ... not much then!
Swim in the lake at least one more time. Eat a few more popsicles. Go for a bike ride wearing shorts, and not feel cold.It may actually be hot enough to consider doing those things this weekend, yay!
We've had such a ridiculously hot summer, most of my usual summer activities will actually be fall activities. All the weeding and repairs and hiking and skating etc. In a perfect world I'd get a weekend on a lake somewhere not as hot. Not gonna happen.

Still, I want to get downtown a couple times, and watch the lake at night, etc., before summer ends. I hate feeling, at the end of the summer, like I forgot to do some summery things or didn't make time.

I should also cut down that junky weed-tree near the garage. But I don't want to do that. Stupid tree.
