This book is, although I liked its lightness, terrible. I think there was a nuclear-bomb shower of the word "fuck," repeated probably over ten times each page. The authors tried to make it a funny adverb, but it could get sickening as you go halfway.
I stopped reading this book because although I like playlists and stories that happen in the span of twenty-four hours, I just couldn't stand two alternating voices who both do a lot of whining than anything else. I'm sure there's a story somewhere deep into the middle of this book, but I could care less to slosh through the marsh of the first half of the book.
The authors were probably trying to get the readers into the heads of Nick and Norah, but even those places were the most boring place I've ever been in. I didn't like my experience with this book, not at all, and even though I'm the type who doesn't want to leave things unfinished, I just can't go through this one. It's terrible, for a "light-read" book that's supposed to be for young adults.
