Sarah, is there something in particular you love most about a show or movie? Some general theme? Looking at your list, I'm thinking maybe life in a close-knit group or main characters finally realizing the importance of community. Do you have any books on your TBR pile like this?

Deedee | 2345 comments I'm having a hard time picking one for this one, maybe y'all can help? I'm a big science fiction/fantasy fan; my favorite TV shows are "Doctor Who" and "Being Human", both from England. I also like "reality TV" shows "Survivor" and "Amazing Race". For movies ... the Harry Potter series, the "Back to the Future" trilogy, and Monty Python and the Holy Grail".

Kate (kathrynlouwca) | 1002 comments For survivor, would the first two books in the The Hunger Games Trilogy Boxset work? I mine, it is all about being the last one standing in the arena. For Amazing Race, maybe Stephen King's The Running Man or The Long Walk would work. I don't know for sure. Just some suggestions.

chucklesthescot I love films and love so many different scenarios! I loved the film 'John Carpenters Vampires' where the evil vampires are hunted down by the good guy, so I might use Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith.

Haven't totally decided yet...

Chuckles, did you ever pick a book? I realized when you first posted that I'd never read a book where the EVIL vampires are hunted down (movies, shows, but no books). Only possible exception is [book:Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
and obviously, that's about zombies not vampires.

B (kristenlovesbooks) Mrs. Soule, if one of my favorite movie genres is vampire/paranormal (if that's even a "genre", lol) like Interview with a Vampire, Twilight, Bram Stoker's Dracula, can I read a book from the House of Night series? They're about young vamps juggling school, friends and the occasional brush with evil and are quite enjoyable, though definitely "light" fare. I would be reading this one for this task, if approved:

Untamed by P.C. Cast

Thanks so much! Great task!
