OMG, Kimberly!!! I'm glad you're OK and it wasn't worse!! Your poor arm! I had a pain in my hand yesterday and I could barely type and it was driving me up a wall! I cannot imagine what it would be to have a broken arm.

Kimberly- Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Thanks Ashley! I really enjoyed Naked In Death and it was refreshingly different from her Nora Roberts work.
And thanks to all my friends here in the RRRC. You are all so special to me.
The hardest parts are the one-handed typing, bathing, clothing, and grooming and waking @ 3am in pain. And the ITCHING!!!!!

Thanks Iftcan, its a lot more comfortable.

This was my first challenge and it was not only greate fun but a way to force myself to read books that were lingering on my 'gonna-read-someday' list.
Out of the new authors I really enjoyed Virginia Kantra and Allyson James. Both had different takes on PNR that I hadn't read before and both were really well written. I didn't enjoy either of the Alice Hoffman books. I just didn't find myself immersed in her writing. I might give The Ice Queen another go at some stage because it's always possible I just wasn't in the mood and had just come from reading One for the Money, a funny light hearted book written in an entirely different style. Plus it has such a beautiful cover - the reason I picked it up in the first place. Practical Magic didn't grab me at all. Tempted was amazing and cements Megan Hart into Must Read status and Dark Peril had an interesting little twist at the end keeping me wanting more.

8. Romance Genre: Pride and Prejudice - 22/9

I am really starting to warm up to Stephanie. The first two books I found her annoying, but liked most of the other characters, so decided to give the series a shot. Glad I did. I think she is finally coming into her own. The tension between Morelli and Stephanie is starting to wear a little thin, though. Geesh, how long many books will it take for them to quit playing games? Will definitely try #4.

I really love this series. I think it's a great series for young adults to sink their teeth into (pun intended).
I think Rose is not only a good strong heroine, but she is an honest one. She isn't perfect, she's flawed and not really afraid to admit it.
Dimitri is sexy as heck and always trying to do the right thing. I love that he, too is an honest character. He tries to do the right thing, yet sometimes gives in and does what feels good instead.
I can't wait to read the next book.
