MAlec is pretty Awesome.... I think though that Jace and Clary will be less annoying in the next book... Lets hope *fingers crossed* and I really love MAlec too :)

:D Ahhh, Malec... I read about them all the time :P I also love reading about Magnus when he was in his relationship with Camille... thought it's nowhere near as real as it is with Alec.

I know, I convinced my mother, (though in retrospect this is regrettable...), to TMI, but for some reason she is under the impression that the books are about Jace and Clary...
Doesn't she understand that Magnus and Alec are the reason people read the books! (no offense Jace, I don't enjoy getting murdered in my sleep by literary characters)

Yeah I think Alec feels more secure when he starts dating Magnus because he's finally got something he can base his worth on. Someone likes and understands the person he is.

And Magnus shows a more caring and compassionate side when he is with Alec. He is still really funny :)

True I guess but idk, he still just seems like I don't wanna say clingy bc that's not right but he's always asking questions and sulking. I'm not describing this well

Yeah I would say he's not confident, and tends to mope around feeling misunderstood, and is generally a bit weak-willed. But, I think his character improves gradually from being around Magnus.

I agree with that. I hardly remember him from City of Bones. Maybe I should reread it.. :D lol that'd be fun

There's so many books I'd love to re-read but there's like a floodgate of books that I want to read filling up my bookshelves and my goodreads 'to-read' shelf and people just keep on writing more and more books, never-ending series, that and trying to read some of the best classics is a profound amount of reading time that I don't seem to be able to find... lol (:

Omg I know! I've been reading Anna Karenina for like a year now, at least it's been on that shelf for a long time. It's hard to go and read it even though I like the book

Yeah I've been reading The Lord of the Rings for ages now, love them but they can be slow.

I adore Malec. I think they are perfect for each other. In a way, I think this is one of the most important and strongest relationships in the books because Magnus saved Alec and I say this because Alec was shy and not confident and insecure being gay and a shadowhunter at that, too which is frowned upon in the Nephilim world. And then Magnus comes along who is the complete opposite of Alec and they just fit, and Magnus helps him be more comfortable with who he is and Alec is suddenly more confident/happier...I mean, he does come out and kiss Magnusin front of his parents, the enitre clave etc in CoG. I think what they have is a rare form of true love and though I like Jace/Clary a lot, too, I think to me Magnus/Alec seems more real.

this series would be nothing without Malec. though I died at page 511 i just... I'm drowning in feels!

i think is a little weird... but a very usefull relationship for the lightwoods and Clary. I mean if magnus wasn't dating Alec they would never afford enough money to pay for Magnus work.
