Featured Goodreads Authors is our new slot where PNR & UF Goodreads authors join us for a Question and Answer session for about three days. (this feature was inspired by Yz's RRRC "ask a question, win a book" feature - we focus on UF/PNR though)

We have a great chance to chat with and get to know some of the PNR & UF authors we read and love. I am very happy that they are willing to come visit us and I hope you enjoy them being here too!

I would like to thank all the authors who have agreed to take part for giving us their time and ears! We look forward to you sharing with us!

To ensure the smooth running of the Q & A sessions there need to be a few ground rules!

1. Be polite and courtious both to the author and others group members asking questions. This in not the place to tell an author how much you hated a book or what you think should have happended in the book! Please remember when the author shares a story it is part of them and how they felt the characters and story shoould play out.

2. Please avoid really personal questions to the authors.

3. Please do not monopolise the questions, ask one or two in a post. You can always ask more later!

4. Be patient, the author will not be online 24 hours per day so it may take a few hours for you question to be answered. Also rmember we have members worldwide so have time differences to take account of too!

Here's a run down of how to ask your questions to make it easier for everyone!

1. It would be helpful to the authors if you could bold your questions. (go to (some html os ok) on the top right of the comment box, scroll down until you find "bold text: ... " - ie place around you Q put <> with b in it before and after > with b following/)

2. Don't overdo the number of questions, more are okay if they are simple yes/no type answers. If a question is complex or has a few parts, please ensure your wording is clear.

3. Please check you question has not already been asked above.

A request to the authors:

~ You are likey to have been asked quite a few questions, so to keep everthing clear for yourself and the group it would help us if you copy the question you are answering at the top of your response - OR mae sure you address the answer to the person who asked the question.

~After posting your answers please check above your posting incase a question was asked in the time taken to write your relpy, sometimes posts creap in between posts where we do not expect them!

~You are not obliged to anser all the questions. If a question makes you unconfortable or you can not answer it for some other reason then please leave it out.

An invitation
If there are any authors who are members of this group who are interested in taking part, please contact the moderator.
