~Geektastic~ (atroskity) | 3205 comments That is lovely! I love the color and the sort of Egypt-meets-art-nouveau look. Plus the shape of the mug is accented by the shape of the figures. Nothing I like better than a utilitarian item with superior design.

message 126: by Raven137 (last edited Nov 21, 2015 09:25PM) (new)

Raven137 (alderpendragon) | 1 comments 1) a faded out black and white photo of a young boy sitting crouched in the corner, head rested on his knees, and hands wrapped around them.
2) a worn old book. black cover, dusty, the words on the side in silver paint have almost worn away completely.
3) a wooden paintbrush, old and worn, and covered in different colored splotches of paint on the handle.
4) a pair of earbuds worn and dirty, still plugged into a gray ipod. the ipod still on, paused a few seconds before the song was to end.
5)a worn black covered drawing journal completely full except for the first to pages. Consists of all black and white sketches done in either pen or pencil. Only the last page contains color, on top of a black and white drawing, red.
6) a small journal, about the size of an average book. leather bound (fake leather), inside lots of depressing and emotional poems along with small ideas and character designs for a novel.
7) a pile of stones, average that you might find anywhere. and a list of places or memories (the moment I first saw her, my first concert seeing Fun. and Tegan and Sara) numbered by rock (rock #1, rock #2), but the rocks bear no numbers representing which location matches which rock. next to this… a full deck of cards collected over time, each a different back (same thing going on with the locations/memories and the numbers by cards)
8) an old(fashioned) key. worn and looks almost impossible to be used.
9) a wooden chess piece strung through with a thick black string.
10) a black and white photo album. filled with people, bodies, and abandoned places. (an old pipe along a dusty wall, an old narrow, high building alleyway, a broken window, and rainy weather.
11) a recording of rain on a tin roof on a cassette tape, worn and labeled (though barely visible because it has worn away)
...thats not it but 5-10 ...11 and it would take forever to write...
