Savannah had begun to ignore the two, captivated by the beauty of the house. Somewhat simple, yet extravagant at the same time.
With the setting sun behind it the white adobe walls seemed to glow like a fire. It was 3 stories, surrounded by palm trees whose leaves swayed slightly in the wind. Instead of gras sournding the house like she was used to,it was instead surrounded by white sand, the ocean not too far away. There was a wrap around porch and french doors opening out to a deck in back, along with a small balcony on the third floor.

"It's beautiful," she murmured.

"Must've been a great childhood."

Jacob was now the one ignoring the two, although he wasn't staring at the house. His gaze instead lingered on the ocean.

A grin spread across his face.
"Really? I can go?"

Jacob looked at him curiously.
"A dead shark?"

Savannah was grinning.
"Yes, meaning you...never mind."

Savannah giggled.

Jacob snorted. "Right. Have fun with that," he called over his shoulder, already running towards the ocean.

She giggled again.
"But of course."

She grinned. "Well that was easy."

She laughed and wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him.

She pulled him down gently so that they were laying on the bed.

She shivered a bit and smiled, running her hands down his chest.

She chuckled.
"Eager much?" she murmured against his lips, pulling his pants the rest of the way down.

She smiled.
"Me too."

She kissed him back, biting down lightly on his lower lip.

Savannah frowned, her lower lip jutting out a little as she began to pout, as if she were a child.
"What's wrong?"

Savannah smiled and tossed him his shirt.
"I think I like you even more now."

She raised and eyebrow and grinned.
"Is that so?"

"And as much as it pains me to say this, I agree."

"Help him," she scoffed. "He's probably having a blast."

Savannah rolled her eyes, starting to walk out the door.
"If he does end up killing a shark, he's going to freak."

Savannah laughed.
"Yeah well, I can see Jacob being upset about it being dead. But who knows, maybe he will just be pissed."

She rolled her eyes.
"Let's go see how much damage he's done," she said somewhat wearily, walking out the door.

She walked outside and looked out at the beach. The water was calm and there was no one in sight. She frowned.
"Do you think he's still underwater?"

Savannah chuckled, shaking her head.

"Guys!" she heard Jacob shout, his voice worried. "I think I might have made a mess."

Savannah pushed Warren and followed after, grinning broadly. "What do you mean?"

"I mean I was a monster."

"Don't say that!"

"I was! I was pretending I was a sea monster, and then I kind of...got hungry."

Jacob doesn't really notice their laughter, instead he stares at the mess around him.
"Uhh...a lot. And I found a person, too."

"I didn't do it!" Jacob wailed, walking closer to the waters edge and pointing at a body.
It was a woman, possibly in her early twenties. Her body was half submerged in the water, the other half laying on the sand.

Savannah gently took Jacob's arm and pulled him away from the waters edge.
"If it was you just say so."

"But it wasn't me!"

Savannah sighed. "You just found her like that?"

He nodded.

Savannah nodded and sighed again, then trie to put on a smile for Jacob's benefit.

Jacob shrugged, staring at his feet. "You're welcome, I guess," he mumbled.

Jacob followed, dragging his feet as he walked.

Jacob pouted but didn't argue, walking dejectedly up to the the house.

"What is it?"

"Rogue vampire? Couldn't it just be a new born who's just being too careless?"

Savannah nodded and frowned, biting her lower lip. Her fangs dug into the delicate flesh, almost breaking through.
"What does that mean?"

"I'm more worried about Jacob than I am about myself," she sighed.

She kissed him back and smiled. "Of course you will."

"We will be," Savannah assured him. "Besides, problems bring people together....usually after it tears them apart, but that's beside the point."

Savannah smiled. "That's good to know. I know how to protect myself."

"Be safe," she said with a smile.

A man walked up to the door and opened it slightly, his blood red eyes staring at Warren impassively. His skin was pale and his hair jet black.
"Yes?" he asked, his voice smooth yet seemingly annoyed.

"Information?" he repeated. "What kind of information?" he asked, purposely stalling and keeping Warren out of the building.

The man smirked and the little light that shown seemed to flash off his fangs. He opened the door a little more and waved his arm.
"Well, come in."

"Extremely so," he replied curtly, quickly shutting the door closed.

"He'll be with you shortly, wait here," the man said over his shoulder, already walking away. "If I were you, I think I'd find it best not to wander."

He smirked and continued on into the darkness, not once bothering to look back.

Another vampire came from an almost hidden doorway, leaning against the doorframe.
"Ah, and so we meet again."

"To what do I owe the pleasure?"

He stared at him for a moment and then broke into a smile.
"Nothing at all."

"If I knew anything, rest assured I would tell you," he said smoothly. "What reason do I have for not telling you?" he asked, eyebrows raised.

"A rogue?" He laughed. "Come now, what are the odds of that?"

"Of course. But maybe it's just someone trying to scare you," he said inoccently, a mischevious gleam in his eyes. "You know how some people are."

"Do hurry back," he called after him, a smile on his face. "I rather enjoy your visists."
