Charity (charityross) There are a few nonfiction titles on the list...memoirs and such.

Daniel Teo | 10 comments I think plays and poems and such are excluded from the list, so Shakespeare is off the list. This also explains why Dante and Homer are missing.

Pfff, does this mean there are now 1281 books we must read before we die? Although the new list does look interesting, as in more international.

As far as I can see, Kavalier and Klay is the only addition I've actually read, and I have to say it's a worthy addition. But cutting 'The Brothers Karamazov' and Cryptonomicon'? A great injustice in my opinion...
