G'day Cheryl, If I remember right the photo was taken on the way to "The Kimberley's" http://www.kimberleyaustralia.com/ but, this could be a reflection of so many places here.
I thought you might like these as well, some of the average road trains we have here & a 'true' outback track.

Given our nick name changes, people in the group might think Mandy and I are big party poopers when it comes to Christmas. :D
It's a pretty rare student who is happy with their results. So are you letting her wallow in her misery or are you going out to celebrate?
I wish I got enought sun for a veggie patch.

My nephew who I refer to in msg 795"
This is a great photo Carmel, & great discipline is needed, I did Taekwando for a while but had to stop when I returned to the highway.
To carry on the theme of roads & tracks, here is one from not that long ago, it is the track leading to 'Granite Gorge' outside of Mareeba, the 2nd is me feeding the 'rock wallabies', this species is only found in this area of the gorge.

We did it in the old Statesman, just made sure I was very close to the edge so we 'stradled' the corrigations.

Awe :( Hydroponics! ;)
I should take a photo of the new one that got put in..I mean it's just a little over the top. Today it was filled with dirt....It's deep enough to have a nice sitting pool..LOL
We had our work christmas party yesterday.
This was the boat that took us to lunch

This is where we had lunch.

Crusing the harbour after lunch.

We then went to a pub afterwards to kick on. It was a great party.

Surprisingly okay, especially as the drinking games started quite early. I just wish I hadn't had to get up at 6am this morning. :D
Me thinks you should change your name to Ogail, (-:
Now David, even though the Opera house has changed its name to The Oprah House, and the Bridge is now sporting a big 'O', doesn't mean the O disease has spread that far.
The hipe is just so Over the top. You would think she was royalty.
Especially with the Dollar the way it is at the moment.

LOL!LOL!LOL!LOL!!!!
Carmel, if you have driven the amount of 'tracks' I have, you get to learn/see where the softest area's are, heading out past Surat once I travelled quite a few K's stradling the table drain & only comming onto the road to cross the cattle grids, the property I went to was a half hour drive from his "front gate" to the homestead & that was averaging 50 K's an hour.

I've a question..Anyone been getting lots of romance novels on the right hand side of their GR account? It's a bit strange as I don't really read them but they keep cropping up there. And usually gay romance novels moreso.

Yep, I do. I was just wondering if it tries to match what you look at and tries to link you with books that may interest you like google does. AH, the m/m doesn't worry me in the slightest..Never read it but nor have I read real romance novel before. I've read fanfiction online though..haha ^^;;
I must be blind to advertising, I never notice what's being offered.

From the Herald Sun:
"Deborah Cadbury takes a journey back in time to investigate the story of the family's business
A MOUTH-WATERING river of smooth chocolate runs through a confectionery-filled wonderland when the door opens to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory in Roald Dahl's children's classic.
This scene from the 1964 novel was no fantasy for author Deborah Cadbury -- this was her memory of the first time she visited England's Bournville Cadbury factory as a five-year-old girl." Read more here!
P.S. I just LOVE the cover of her book (both editions!):

Yum thanks Mandy. I'm a bit of a chocolate heathen. Cadbury chocolate is my favourite chocolate. I find the more expensive chocolates too creamy. :D

I love their caramel centre chocolate!

Here is my chocolate poem.
Chocolate
Chocolate, I hold you in my hands
Ancient food of many lands
Food of ancient Mayans who
Drank it like the Aztecs, too.
How is it you came to me?
The Spaniards brought you across the sea
To Europe first, in ships so slow
Now around the world you go.
Chocolate in its solid form
Is made from cocoa butter warm
With cocoa powder and sugar, sweet
To make for us a tasty treat.
Sometimes when life seems most unfair
And no-one else seems to care
Nothing else at all makes sense
Than to eat a piece of Orange Intense
Chocolate, the best kind of food
To put you in a better mood
Chocolate, I hold you in my hands
Ancient food of many lands.
Thanks Jan, enjoyed your poem, well done, just goes to show my spelling is down the drain LOL!
I was once told that you don't have bad thoughts when eating chocolate, I tend to agree.(-:

I just finished a huge double batch of mini Christmas puddings for the coming festive season!70 puddings! Tried one (of course!), delicious...:)

Why? Are you supplying a bakery? Or do you just love entertaining?
Sorry to tease Carmel...I'll post you one if you want...:D And yes, I'd definitely be Santa's size if I ate them all....hahaha Couldn't manage it, anyway Laura, think I'd be ill!!!
Jan, they are only small, about the size of a walnut. We are having 3 different days of Christmas celebrations this year, and everyone loves them. As I only ever make them at Christmas, I decided to double batch them so we'd have enough!! :)

Wow!! Look at that! It worked....:D
Now you can all see the magnificent sunset we had on Saturday night!!! Thanks, Gail, you're a legend..xo
Wow that is an amazing sunset. Congratulations on working out how to post pictures. It becomes addictive once you start!!! :D

what I now do for photos on GR is, place the cursor on the profile photo I'm after then right click, on properties then highlight/copy the photo details, eg (http://photo.goodreads.com/photos/129...) I then paste onto a new word doc. in-between the 2 inverted commas [image error], then highlight/copy the lot & paste here. This way you can even save the word doc. as a future reference.
Laura wrote: "*hungry* Brenda, glad you didn't eat them all..lol And that sunset is very nice too! Cool on working out how to post them as well :)"
I'll have to be very strict with myself Laura, or I won't have as many left as I want by the time our first group of people arrive...hehe..:D
