It is raining here but still meh..But apparently it's 23c..The puppy i met today was so very cute.

Yes, very sad. Raining here, but just rain. Not like in Sydney and other areas.

We've still got the heat - I'm hoping it'll go out to see before it reaches here...

It didn't go out to sea in Sydney because the western suburbs were the worst and then apparently it moved up to Gosford. The northern suburbs are just getting rain and a strong southerly.

We haven't had any rain or signs of thunder yet so hopefully it will stay away...

I want an air conditioner.

As much as I love the thought of rain at this moment, we are too often recently hit with horrid storms, rains and floods - hopefully our little fans will help us sleep and as Brenda said, we don't get the horrid storms that hit Sydney and are due here latter tonight. Hopefully, they will by pass here at Nelson Bay in Port Stephens.

Yeah it missed our house...but there were a lot that weren't as lucky! The winds were almost like a mini cyclone! It was pretty scary being home alone! But alls fine :)

Umm rooty hill area in Sydney. Yeah powers out at our place too bc one of the trees fell on power pole!

Just heard the news - I use to belong to a fan group called Snape is innocent. 4 of us are still very close even though the group no longer exists.

Professor Snape died :( this has been a week of shocking deaths.

Just heard the news too. Both David Bowie and Alan Rickman dead at 69 in the same week. Both so brilliant. Will never forget Rickman playing Snape. RIP Alan Rickman and David Bowie. So sad :(

Celine Dion's husband has also passed away today

Yes I saw he passed away overnight after a long battle with cancer. A sad day for Celine and her children.

Its snowing here in the middle of Ireland. Rather hard to drive on, Makes roads slippery.

oh ...we had a bad storm the other day and too much rain, and my back yard was a lake. between 2-5 inches. I discovered that knee high boots don't keep the water out.

Homes in Dublin and low lying areas were flooded or threatened by high water. Many houses are along canals. A nearby river with a stone bridge was in flood, its normally one foot deep, it rose by over 2meters. we thought the bridge would crack.

Sounds like some of your weather is similar to ours Nicole...not the snow, but the rain! Flooding here in parts ATM!

Here it's been cold..This morning was 13.5c but it warmed up in the afternoon reaching a lowly 20c.

Doesn't it p... you off! All set do do some baking (in this case zucchini slice for some advance lunches for my Mum) and the flour, still in date until May 2016, has weevils in it. Yuk! Off to the shops....
