The crescent moon will occult (move in front of Venus) today between 14:00 and 15:00. It should be easily visible using binoculars and with the naked eye you can spot Venus as well.

Hopefully you guys will see this in time...

Well, you can now still see Venus close to the moon. It only appeared again at 15:50.

I did manage to get a series of images and combined them all to form this image. The quality isn't great, but at least it's something.

Thanks. I only wish I had more experience with the equipment and didn't make so many mistakes. Unfortunately this doesn't happen often so I couldn't have practiced for it.

Yeah, too bad business is extremely quiet at the moment. At least being my own boss gives me the chance to read copious amounts of books at work.
