For a general introduction, I would recommend the following:

" Pagan Paths: A Guide to Wicca, Druidry, Asatru, Shamanism and Other Pagan Practices " by Pete Jennings.

This books will give a general introduction to paganism, however there are so many paths to follow, you may need a more specific recommendation and I invite members to include their specific recommendations to beginner's on their path in a separate thread. If members know of books that explore several paths that would help someone new to paganism, please recommend it on this thread.
