Sorry, Mands, but crocheting is really not that cool. I know Vanna White does it, but that may prove my point more than argue it! I crochet too, but it is a bit "granny", wouldn't you say?

I think the "coolness" factor depends on what your crochet. But I could be wrong.

I crochet. But not in the summer, because my fingers get sweaty.
So, not cool, in a literal sense, for sure.
