message 3: by [deleted user] (new)

Nice, Dave! One I saw on there reminded me of a game that I have on DS called Driller...I can totally lose hours and hours to that stupid game!

message 4: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (songgirl7) I have played a LOT of Freecell.

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

Freecell really gets you because it's so quick and mindless you can do the "oh, just one more" thing until you turn around and it's Tuesday!

The Crimson Fucker (tcf123) Amelia… why you had to mention minesweeper…? dear god my record in beginner is 3 secs… every time I play that cybernetic crack my brain just shuts down… and I go into zombie mode…

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

Exactly!

message 8: by Lori (new)

Lori I have no game addictions and don't play any! Does that make me too uncool for this place? But I'm a master at losing hours of my life. The problem is I can't even tell what I'm doing, just puttering about.

message 9: by [deleted user] (new)

Lori, we can't all be uncool in EVERY way...welcome darlin!

message 10: by Charissa (new)

Charissa (dakinigrl) uhm... Good Reads.

message 11: by Charissa (new)

Charissa (dakinigrl) cyber smut... is that a waste of time? huh... that never occurred to me. ; )

Jackie "the Librarian" Many hours of MST3K...

message 13: by Sally (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) Did I post once already that I used to play RuneQuest? I feel like I'm losing my mind.

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm with Charissa...internet porn is an excellent time waster. I have no time for video games...

message 15: by [deleted user] (last edited Jul 09, 2008 09:01AM) (new)

I love Gus...Gus, you're my new GR crush, K?

(Apparently you have to have one?)

The Crimson Fucker (tcf123) Gus, what about those weird Japanese hentai games???

Amelia, we have to have a GR crush??? So I don’t have to feel weird no more B/C of my Charissa crush no more??

The Crimson Fucker (tcf123) Don, Diablo II: 2 days to download it, 10 mins to crack and the rest of my summer vacation was spent killing cows and Mephisto

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

It seems we're supposed to...or so I was informed.

The Crimson Fucker (tcf123) And who gave you this information????

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

Alfonso, I think hentai is simply ridiculous. Kewpie-eyed teen girls getting raped by creatures with tentacles? No thanks.

Amelia...yay! I love being crushed on!

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

I think it was Kim and Mandy, Al.

message 22: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (songgirl7) Uh oh... Am I allowed to have GR crushes? I'm married. I think that might be a no-no (but I do anyway).

message 23: by Lori (new)

Lori Married people are allowed to have fantasy crushes. Otherwise there's not one happy marriage in the history of the world!

message 24: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (songgirl7) Well of course I have fantasy crushes like movie stars and stuff... but aren't GR people different? Because you interact with them, shouldn't the rules be different? I dunno. I'm just asking.

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

No touchy, those are the rules Sarah. Crushes are normal.

message 26: by Lori (last edited Jul 09, 2008 08:12PM) (new)

Lori Are they from afar? Then they're OK, methinks. As long as you're not meeting them for lunch. Then it gets too real.

I've been married for more than 25 years, Sarah. Not to worry!

message 27: by [deleted user] (last edited Jul 09, 2008 08:10PM) (new)

Agred, Lori, no touchy, and no meety (pun intended).

(Does it count as a pun if it isn't a real word?)

message 28: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (songgirl7) Okey dokey!

Most GR crushes aren't "real" crushes anyway, though, right? I mean, they're usually just I-think-you're-really-cool-but-don't-necessarily-want-to-jump-your-bones-type crushes?

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

Agreed, sorry Gus! ;)

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

Sept, I think I'd have been tempted if 'ol Steveo had made it to America...heh.

(Doesn't count, I'm not married.)

message 31: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (songgirl7) Kirk, you know you're one of mine, right? And Davey... I'm pretty sure Davey knows he's one of mine. The kind I described above in message #30.

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

I see that, RA too, in that case.

message 33: by Lori (new)

Lori Oooo, we're now declaring crushes to the source. This could get good!

message 34: by [deleted user] (last edited Jul 09, 2008 08:18PM) (new)

Only in the "hugging with your clothes on" sex kinda way. Cause, I kinda see him like a big brother...and Davey like a little brother who likes to poke me and hide my stuff, but has good music taste. Kirk, well, he's funny as hell and that's way crushworthy!

message 35: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (songgirl7) Yeah, that's why my crushes are my crushes. Because they make me laugh and I want to hug them with clothes on.

message 36: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (songgirl7) Now I'm all nervous and scared of rejection. One time in seventh grade a boy found out I had a crush on and he stood up in the middle of the class and said very loudly "I do NOT like HER back." It was traumatizing.

Jackie "the Librarian" I like you back, Sarah!

Uh, not that I'm saying you're crushing on me...

message 38: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (songgirl7) Aw, thanks, Jacks!

message 39: by Lori (new)

Lori Oh my God! I'd never get over that! Still, it was 7th grade. When boys are starting to think girls might be more than OK, but are not ready to fess up.

message 40: by [deleted user] (new)

Please, I was snogging in 7th grade!

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

Amelia...damn you!

I've got some GR crushes as well. Hell, even a man-crush or two, actually.

message 42: by [deleted user] (new)

Damn me? Why damn me? What did I do, besides post a half naked picture of a grown up Punky Brewster for you? That was pure love, man!

message 43: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh, right. Thanks for the Soleil Moon Frye pic. You're forgiven.

message 44: by Sarah (last edited Jul 10, 2008 08:23PM) (new)

Sarah (songgirl7) Gus, are you gonna share your crushes with the rest of the class? I'm expecially interested in your man-crushes.

(I want to point out that I spelled "expecially" wrong on purpose... most of you know that's my pet peeve but some of you might not)

message 45: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm working on it...

message 46: by [deleted user] (new)

What's Pogo?

message 47: by [deleted user] (new)

Oh, like Popcap?

message 48: by [deleted user] (new)

If so, I'm still right there with you, my uncool friend.

message 49: by [deleted user] (new)

Go for it Chewie!

Actually, Mini Am and Axis have been rather quiet all weekend as well. What the hell is up around here?

message 50: by Amanda (last edited Jul 14, 2008 12:27PM) (new)

Amanda (randymandy) Damnit, I missed more "goodreads crushes" conversation...
