Japanese Literature discussion

*Please nominate in the appropriate topic. (Not in this one, I will close it for new posts).
*You can nominate any book that was either written by a Japanese Author and/or is happening in Japan. It's important that it speaks of Japanese culture and people for the major part, but whatever the story, it doesn't matter.
*If the book you are nominating isn't on our shelf, please add it. Post the link to the book on goodreads as well and to a synopsis if there isn't one on goodreads. You can also post a synopsis in this thread along with your nominations, if you wish.
*For now, please nominate fiction.
*There's bound to be someone that will be unhappy by the book selection - maybe they have already read it, maybe they aren't interested ... Please, even if the book that gets the most votes isn't your top choice, still try and read it. Every book is interesting in its own way (some more, some less, but still). If you have already read the book, you can try and reread it or at least participate in disccusion.
