Katniss raises her eyebrows, looking coolly at Artemis.
Katrina let out a low growl that sounded too deep for a girl her age to be able to make, eyes narrowed.

Artemis stared across the lake. "State youre business!"

Katniss didn't reply.
Katrina glared, opening her mouth to say something. Kate clapped her hand over Katrina's mouth before she could.
"We're passing through." Katniss called, her voice steady.
Kate removed her hand to avoid being bitten by Katrina. She reached over her shoulder, clasping her silver bow and one arrow.
Katrina's hand had already flown to her sword.

"If youre passing through....." Artemis dropped her weapon.

Katniss looked back. Something about her air made Katrina think that she wasn't done yet.

"But if youre NOT." Artemis hissed the words. She looked out accross the water once more and glared at them.

Katniss nodded. "We may stay, for a while, but eventually we will..." she lightly emphasized the word, "...be moving on."

"What do you plan on staying for?"

Artemis looked at him. Then at the lake. "A storm is rolling in. You may stay to wait it out."

"But keep in mind I am not alone."

Artemis looked at him. "I don't mean for your safety."

"OUR safety." Artemis muttured.

"No."

"MY pack."

Katniss nodded.

Artemis leaped from the cliff to a rock below.

Katniss picked her way around the lake to a spot on the beach, where nothing was lying but sand.

Artemis looked into the waves crashing below.

She dove in, taking a swim.

She came back out shortly. Heading back to her appartment.

Artemis took a shower and dried off. She then turned on her sterio and blasted evanescence.

Katrina lay down on the sand, staring up at the darkening sky. A few stars winked down at her, twinkling brightly in the still light-ish sky. She heard Katniss say something about getting a fire started, but she ignored her, placing her hands behind her head.

Artemis left her appartment. She ran up to tatagouch and went for a hike.

Katrina's side warmed quickly, and when she turned her head, she saw that Katniss had started the fire.

A nervous ripple went up Katrina's spine and she sat up, looking at him.

Katrina shrugs, pretending to ignore him.

Artemis, after her hike, decides to go for a run on the beach.

Katrina smiles, knowing he's still watching her.

Katniss looked between Katrina and Jared, then let out a small sigh, looking over at Kate, who was crouching in the wet sand, running her fingers through the water.

Slash was wandering the beach when she caught sight of them. "What the HELL do you think youre doing in our territory?" She snarled.
((She's the younger one.... Umm... Artemis hadn't exactly told her yet...))

Katrina leaped to her feet, looking at Slash. "Who're you?" She hissed. "One of hers?"
Katniss looked at Slash. "Someone said we could stay here." She said, interrupting Katrina as she asked "One of hers?"

Artemis came strolling on the beach. "Slash! Prepare for the storm coming! We have 2 days! They will stay until the storm passes!"
Slash narrowed her eyes and stalked away.

Katrina looked over at him. "Sure are." She said, smiling back.

Slash stalked to the cliffs.

"What?" Katrina asked, genuinely curious. She usually thought of herself as someone rather.....odd-looking being the kindest way to put it.

Slash triipped and nearly fell over the edge. Again.

Slash, knowing better to hang out there after nearly falling, went back to her house.

Katrina didn't answer. She couldn't. She'd never been called even pretty. She stood, beckoning Katniss over. "I'm gonna go. Just for a few hours or something." Katniss nodded, turning and walking back to the fire. Katrina started towards the edge of the beach, where sand met trees. Before she hit the line of trees, she shifted.

She paced the clearing of the forest.

Bored as hell, Slash went pacing the cliffs agaign.

Katrina had always been fond of tree-climbing. She did so now, after shifting back, climbing so high that she could poke her head through the roof of the forest, looking down at the world. The flickering of light told her where the camp was, and from way up there, the lake looked a lot smaller than reality. The wind blew her hair across her face, so, clenching the tree branch with her legs and tying her hair back with a ponytail holder.

Slash nearly fell again. "Damnit!" She cussed.

"Fuck this." She muttured, jumping off the cliff.

Katrina leaped off the tree, landing on the hard ground. By her best guess, she estimated it to be about midnight. She strode back out of the forest, back to the fire.

Katniss rolled over, trying to get to sleep. Something kept digging into her side.

Kate was sound asleep.

Midway down she shifted, leaping lightly to a rock at the bottom.

Katrina lay down, closing her eyes and folding her hands on her stomach, legs crossed.

She shifted back and went for a swim.
Artemis was waiting for her. "You IDIOT! You should not be cliff diving this time of the night!" She snapped to SLash.

Katrina slowly fell asleep, rolling onto her side.

The fire slowly died, and a strong wind blew over the lake, causing the treetops in the forest to wave.
