Angie (angieayala) | 2 comments I didn't know there was such a big opinion regarding Natalie's decision. She went through so much in her life, she lost so much is only natural she wants to grab with both hands whatever happiness she finally has. I, personally, am a stay at home mom, unfortunately is not by choice. Where I live the unemployment is off the charts, I lost my job a few years ago and haven't been able to get another one since. I am a married mother of two kids, fortunately despite the lack of extra money I'm able to stay at home and care for the house and our kids and the biggest difference in opinion between my husband and I is not the fact that I stay at home, is the fact that we need more money in the house, but unfortunately in our country things are not what they used to be and we have to make ends meet however we can. I'm 100 % sure that were that not the case and we had the extra money to be comfortable with the monthly bills and I told him I want to stay in the house and be a stay at home mom, he wouldn't even blink and say ok, do it. I simply cannot believe that with the things that are happening around the world with the economy and such and particularly in the US that people can look down on a woman that stays at home to care for her husband and her home. Clearly he needs her, why wouldn't any woman do anything she can for the man she loves, I'd do it in the blink of and eye. Have the people become so jaded that even true love in a fictional book makes them protest openly. Ha! I can't imagine what the response would be if you had him to stay at home! Oh! and the babies stuff?! really? One of the reasons I love your stories so much is the happily ever after, I don't find a romance book complete without it. The wedding, the house, the kids! *sigh* People: you are reading a romance novel! Of course there are bound to be kids in the happily ever after! I think that was one of my favorite parts on Extreme Exposure... and in Unlawful Contact... heck in all 5 of them! Pamela: I think I speak for many people when I say this: Your books have become my favorites, I am very picky with books, and I read a lot, I have less than 10% of the books I ever read in my favorites shelf (list) Your 5 I-Team books are on that list. (the only book in which you were on serious jeopardy of me hating you was when Gabe did what he did towards the end of Naked Edge, I even cried! and that's not an easy thing to achieve, but then you fixed it and I liked you even more) People will criticize because they have nothing better to do, I'm sure if you look they will be a minority of the people that actually read your books. You can be sure that if you write a 100 books we will love them and every day more people will love them of course there will also be the stray who decides to criticize, but those are the people who inadvertently (and without additional cost) advertise your books. Please keep the books coming no matter what! And pay no mind to the snobs that decided to look down on stay at home moms, we were not offended and will continue to read your books :D
