Add a creature brought back from the Amazon, a gala at a museum, ignorant bureaucracy and you have Relic. Not a bad read and definitely better than the movie.

I really liked this. I think I read this one right through because I wanted to know what happened.

This was a great read and the rest of the series just kept getting better. I love Lincoln Child and Douglas Preston. They may even be my favorite pair of authors! This book was 100 percent better than the movie. Pendergast's character was intriguing and I liked his role in the shadows. The creature was a fascinating diversion from your standard monster. I thought the female researcher was well-written for a female in horror. Not your standard weak, helpless chick. Overall, it was a great book!
