3) The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time (August's read!)

And I will be buying these soon...
1) The Notebook- Nicholas Sparks

Should we start a thread of books youd like and books you have to get rid of? Maybe we will be able to make some swaps within our group. I know I have a list of books on pbs that have been sitting there Id love to send off to someone?

Bloomin’Chick (Jo) aka The Eclectic Spoonie (bloominchick) Sounds like a good idea to me!

I just had to return "Gluten-Free Girl" by Shauna James Ahern because I ran out of renewals & I'm not finished, so it's on my 'to buy' list! (Given all my health prob's, I think it's got some really great info re: what to eat & what not to eat!)

Peanut | 149 comments Books on reserve at the library

Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer (I got lucky and am number 4 for this. They posted it on the site real early)

When you are engulfed in flames by David Sedaris (books on cd - the only way to "read" a book by David Sedaris)

The battle of the labyrinth by Rick Riordin (SP?) - 4th book of the Percy Jackson series

I think that is it. The rest should be movies.

Leslie Hickman (bkread2) | 233 comments Hey Peanut I just went to the David Sedaris book signing here in Tulsa a few weeks ago. My Mom & I picked up that exact same book then!!

Now on my reserve list at the library...
I am still awaiting
1. Cranford by Elizabeth Gaskell Cleghorn (I have been on the list since it was shown on PBS this past spring only 3 more people to go!!!)

2. An Assembly Such as This: a Novel of Fitzwilliam Darcy by Pamela Aidan (its the first of a three part series & I am the type that has to read them in order)

message 8: by Peanut (new)

Peanut | 149 comments Leslie - I can't decide whether or not to listen to the book or not. I bought a ticket to see him/hear him in October. I'm thinking I just might want to be surprised by his new work. Can't decide!!!!
