I will just tell my followers that my blog is being moved.
Wordpress lets you import your blogspot blog(s), so you will not be losing anything.

Good luck and let us know your where your new blog will be :)
I will Ally. I'm waiting for an email. Hopefully, I'll get it by Monday and then I will be moving my blog to Wordpress.
I can't even contact Blogspot to find out why they didn't my blog.

My book blog is still there too. That means my TV and movies blog is still there as well, because they are on one account. I was going to import my blogspot to Wordpress, but I am not going to worry about it. I'm just not going to bother with blogspot anymore. I will post my new blog addy up on my profile, once I post my first blog.
I will not be surprise if one day I go to blogspot and my book blog is gone.
Blogspot owns their bloggers blogs. Wordpress lets you own your own blogspot. No, Wordpress don't have a lot of freeway that blogspot has, like you are able to adjust your page to the way you want it. At least not with the free version, but it's still good for what I want to do and plus, if someone doesn't have a wordpress account, they can still post a comment to things that I say. I monitor all my comments, even on blogspot I did. So, if a person says something that I don't like, I can always delete it.
On blogspot, a person can chose the anonymous button and you will not know who they are. On Wordpress, they have to give a name. I don't care if they don't give their real name, they still have to give a name.
On Wordpress they investigate spam flags. They don't do like blogspot and just delete your blog, because someone flag it as spam. Haters can lie on you on blogspot and they will believe them and delete your blog without an explantation as to why did they did it.
It reminds me of Amazon and their no vote systems.

I haven't had a lot of issues with negative comments on my blog, but I'll check out Wordpress. I'm kind of lazy, so I'll keep my Blogger blogs. I may start on on Wordpress though. Thanks for the 411, Arch.
You are welcome Danielle. I am not trying to get you or anyone else that has blogspot to leave blogspot. I just want to warn you all that blogspot does delete people blog.
I hope none of us that still have blogs at blogspot get our book blogs flagged as spam.
I'm leaving blogspot, because of my experience with them. They have even deleted my google account, so I can't really contact them about why my blog has been deleted. They sent me an email that I have found last night, because I had to use my yahoo account to get a new blog. I wanted my blog to be different from my book blog. A different feel. I don't use my yahoo account at all.
Anyway, the email only told me that they have removed my blog, because it was marked as spam. They didn't give me a way to contact them and ask them why. I have tried to log into my account and it's not there anymore. I've even typed my blog addy and was told that the blog no longer exist. I have tried to log into google and it wouldn't let me. They took me to a page where I had to give them my cell phone number so that they can send me a text code, so that I can get back into my account. That would only allow me to be able to go to their forum and ask a question, which there's really no blogspot support. I think there is only one person there and if you go there, you will see that a lot of people's blog have been deleted, because they have been marked as spam and no solution has been done.
I like wordpress, because not only does they have a forum, where you can ask questions, etc. and have other people try to help you out, they have a real life support them that take out the time to read your concerns and email you back in a timely manner. They are usually off on weekend, but if you email them on a Friday, you might get an email that Saturday or even if you email them on a Saturday, you might get an email on that Saturday. It depends on them, you will get an email the same day you email them or at least a day or two afters. They are friendly and they try their best to help you. I had to email them a couple of times to ask them questions.
Blogspot have more liberty on their blogs. You change things on the free blog, but you can't on wordpress, well you can change the theme's picture to your own. It has to be able to fit the box.
On Wordpress, you can have your blog look like a blog or a webpage.
Again, you are limited as to some of the things you can do on the free wordpress, which is on wordpress.com. Wordpress.org is the self hosting.
Please Danielle, stay on blogspot and anyone else that's on blogspot. Stay there, I was only trying to warn you all about deletions. I should have taken the heed, when I have read blogs being deleted weeks ago. I should have listened to my inner voice about not doing my exercise blog on blogspot.

I'm sorry you lost your blog, Arch. It sounds like Wordpress is a better option for you. Your blog will be even better this time. :)

I'm with them and never had any issues in the past 3 or so years. I think the problem can arise when you are not using your gmail/blogger/Google account to receive feedback and notifications. This way Blogger can assume you only set the blog up for spam, and when it gets a reporting for spam, you get the cut.
I had my book blog, etc. with them for a while now and this never happened.
I'm fine with it now. I'll be on Wordpress.

I'll give the link, when I put up a review Zee. I'm starting my Wordpress book blog fresh. My old blog will have my old blog and it can still be viewed. Hopefully, blogspot will not delete that blog.
I will start my new blog, blogging about Mr. Sam Starrett. What better way to start a new blog? :) I'll let you all know when it's up.
I want to have the blog up by Sunday.

I've gone to post a new post on my blog, but found out that my blog was deleted. It was said that it was marked for spam. That's strange, because I don't spam.
I have read blogspot forums weeks ago, where people were complaining about blogspot deleting their blog for no reason and asking blogspot to put their blog back up with no such luck. I've read last night, where a person's blog that they had for 5 years has been deleted.
What I don't like about blogspot, people can come visit your blog and vote against it. Report it as being abusive or spam and blogspot will delete it, without letting you know anything. They will send you an email letting you know it has been deleted, but they will not give you any details as to what has caused it to be deleted. I have gone to my email address and found the email that they have sent me. It was a different email address that I really never use.
I have a book, movie, TV show blog on Blogspot, I am moving them to Wordpress. I don't want my other hard work to get deleted.
