But I will always prefer the feel of a real book/magazine/newspaper in my hand.
I bought a Kindle in July and it's been great. I'm big on gadgets, but I always swore I would never abandon books. But it's great to have the Kindle for my commute, especially since reading on paper on the bus makes me dizzy, but the Kindle doesn't.
I usually am reading one book on the Kindle and one "dead tree book" at any one time. There are still tons of books that aren't available for Kindle. But between my library card and Kindle (tons of free classics in the public domain), I spend a lot less on books than I used to.

The nice thing about the eReaders is being able to get so many of the classics for free from the Guttenberg Project. That's what I read most on my phone. If you have a smart phone, it's handy for that.

Well, they certainly aren't mutually exclusive! For those of us whose idea of a luxurious hour is soaking in the tub and reading, real books will ALWAYS be a must!

Just wondering what the general consensus on e-readers is; does anyone have one, do you like it... do you feel the experience is different than a physical book?
I am thinking of buying one and I just wanted some ideas....
Thanks
