message 201: by Clarice (new)

Clarice Clique | 1 comments Hi, I'm Clarice Clique, I am an author and I am thrilled to have my second novel released by Xcite, 'Switch'.

I live near Oxford in the UK. I have been writing erotica for the last few years. I have stories published in Past Pleasures, Explicit Encounters, Warmth of his Touch, Surgical Stockings, Tied up in Knots, A Lesson Learned, Partner Swap, The Bad Girl's Sweet Kiss and Sex in the City: London.

I enjoy writing stories of BDSM theme and exploring the dynamics of power relationships.

About me, I love to read, Playing certain video games on line and lets see, have I mentioned my thigh high boot collection before?

Bex vanKoot (bexvankoot) | 1 comments Hey all! I'm Bex vanKoot and my first short erotic story has recently been published with Xcite in their anthology, "Tops and Bottoms".

I have another story coming out with Cleis Press next month in Serving Him and one book of shorts self-published on Kindle. I'm looking forward to getting to know more of you!

Tiffany (tiffster123) | 1 comments Hi, I'm Tiffany. I'm an avid reader; I have a Kindle and an iPad, which has the Kindle software on it. I really love erotica, so I'm grateful to be a part of this group.

message 204: by Jean-philippe (new)

Jean-philippe Aubourg | 3 comments Hi all, I'm Jean-Philippe, one of Xcite's authors. I've published mainly short stories, although my new novel, Catherine's Letters, appeared last month.

I started writing erotica around 1990, with my first work appearing in the much-missed spanking mag Februs, illustrated by Paula Meadows, probably the best spanking artist in the world. I went on to write for Janus, Kane, Sapphire and Scorpion.

My first novel was published by Virgin books in its Nexus imprint. Journey from Innocence appeared as a paperback in 1997, and last year was republished as an e-book by Random House, which now owns Virgin's back catalogue.

Away from writing I'm married, have three cats, live in London and am a perpetually-disappointed Arsenal fan.

Felicity Brandon (felicitybrandon) | 1 comments Hey all,
Felicity Brandon here... and I just found the Xcite group!
I penned Disciplinary Action by Elizabeth Coldwell , which was published at the tail end of last year. Since then, my writing has gone from strength to strength!
Glad to be part of the group,

Hello! My name is Sarah and the site (or blog) I moderate is called Kitties Like Books Too. But don't let the cutesy name fool you - we mainly read and review kickass erotica and erotic romance. I've been in love with the romance genre as a whole since middle school - and recently got into erotica threeish years ago. Now I'm a proud addict.

Laura Wilkinson (scorpioscribble) | 3 comments Hello everyone,
I'm Laura - writing as L.C. Wilkinson - and I'm delighted to join such a fabulous house with my debut erotic romance, All of Me.
I also write mainstream fiction but got hooked on writing smutty stuff after editing a few MSS in the genre. I love it so much I may never write mainstream again. We'll see. Reading is as much of a passion and favourite authors include Grace Marshall, Lucy Felthouse, Kay Jaybee and Liz Coldwell. There are many other Xcite authors I'm looking forward to discovering and chatting to here. All Of Me by L.C. Wilkinson

Toni Sands (tonisands) | 9 comments Hi Laura and others new to the group. I write erotic romance under the pseudonym Toni Sands and have had short stories and two novellas published by the amazing Xcite Books. I've always found their editors very helpful and supportive. I suppose I would say that, given that Liz Coldwell has alerted me to the following link:> http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/... (review of my novel Orchid Pink). I shall be thrilled if any new authors read my work and wish you all luck and happiness with your lovely smutty outpourings!

message 209: by Laertes (new)

Laertes Laertes (laertes1) Hi

I have a short story published by Xcite within your anthology, Eve's Big Bang, under the name Devlin. Since then I have changed my pen name to Laertes and had a number of short stories published by Ether Books. I also have my first novel about to be published by Pink Flamingo and am starting on my second - which I think may be more appropriate for Xcite.

Daryl B | 2 comments Hi,

I'm Daryl and I live in the UK. I'm not new to writing short stories or poetry, but I am new to reading and writing erotica - and I'm enjoying it.

When I'm not writing, I'm found on a dance floor all night. I'm getting on, but I refuse to give in. :)

Sheron Archibald | 7 comments Hi Elizabeth, how are you? I have a question for you, last night I submitted by book to this site, however I did not receive a confirmation- so I am left wondering if it was received or not. How do I find out if it was received- the manuscript is titled " The mystic pleasures of the Salem Slut" and is is erotica. Thanks

Elizabeth Coldwell (lizcoldwell) | 28 comments Hi Sheron,

Unforunately, the system used for submitting work does not allow for an automated reply. If you send a query email to the editor, Alex, at the address given on the submissions guidelines page, she should be able to let you know if it's been received.

Liz

Toria Lyons | 4 comments Hi, I'm Toria Lyons. My debut rugby-themed novel, Playing for Keeps, has just been published by Xcite. The next novel, Playing Around, should follow in December.
I started writing when I was laid up with joint problems, and wanted to read something with a rugby background. The world of Harford Scarlet was born.
There's more info about me on my website, www.torialyons.co.uk

Hi, I'm Andrew and I'm an admirer of Xcite books, particularly the gay titles.

I'd love to write for Xcite one day (fingers crossed!)

I've never published anything (yet) and I'm still working on my story-telling skills.

Otherwise, I'm a Scottish 32 year old who loves sex, fetishes and music. Preferably at the same time.
