Donna Halloran | 2 comments I am currently reading Truman Capote's In Cold Blood. I love it. I was interested in reading a biography of his life. I know a little about him, but I want to know more. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Chrissie Did you know that Dill, one of the main characters in Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird is based on Capote. Scout, Atticus, and Boo: A Celebration of Fifty Years of To Kill a Mockingbird will give you more info. I have not read the latter yet!

Donna Halloran | 2 comments I did know about his relationship with Harper Lee - it is part of what I want to learn more about. I hadn't heard about the other book but I will definitely add it to my reading list. Thanks!

Carolyn (old-n-cranky) | 8 comments I don't have a suggestion as to a biography, but if you haven't read Truman Capote's "A Christmas Memory" you must. This is a good time to pick it up. It is just short sotories about his life and the holidays. I leave it in the living room before Thanksgiving and re-read it every year.A Christmas Memory
