Debbie Moorhouse Amazon frequently adds items with ISBNs that aren't actually books. So the librarians put NOT A BOOK in there to discourage members from adding and rating those items.

jenjn79 | 564 comments Just a thought...maybe someone should put some info about the NOT A BOOK thing in the "author" profile so if anyone checks it out, they will understand what the NOT A BOOK labeling is about.

Isis, there was some. It looks like some of the author merges may have accidentally deleted it.

Recreating it now.


This Is Not The Michael You're Looking For | 949 comments That's actually rather odd. Why would the author merges have overwritten it? Looking at the edit log, that is what appears to have happened, but it shouldn't overwrite an existing record with the one being merged in, should it?

Because they will be recreated from the Amazon database the next time someone does a relevant search.
