Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

I have a book inserted by me in foreign language,

"As Aventuras de Tom Sawyer"

wich is linked correctly with the author Mark Twain, but i cant link it with any other editions like

"The adventures of Tom Sawyer"

How can i do it? Can any one help with this isue?.. noob here :P

Since Mark Twain has more than one page of books listed in the "combine" view you have to use the filter to isolate the editions you wish to combine. I filtered for "Tom" and combined your edition with the others.

Hello, I have the same problem with combining Amin Maalouf's books. I have just added another edition of this book:

Le dérèglement du monde : Quand nos civilisations s'épuisent

in here: Çivisi Çıkmış Dünya - Uygarlıklarımız Tükendiğinde

but I can't combine two editions.. How can I do it? Any help will be much appreciated because I want to add other editions to other books as well. Thanks so much!

Gozde, you need to be a librarian to combine books. I've combined the ones above for you.

For your other editions just post them here or become a librarian and then you'll be able to do it yourself :)

The only difference between them is that one is the Kindle edition but when I go under "Combine" both editions do not appear.

Olivia, it's because the name of the author had been different. See, one had Mark Roeder and the other one was listed under Mark A. Roeder.
I fixed it.
