Robert salazar (igoape) | 2 comments I am looking for a book I read within the past couple of years about a murder solving group. A millionaire forms the group and invites specialists from different fields who have never met to solve cold cases at his mansion. I think it may have involved missing Asian girls at a ski resort but that part may have been from a different book.
I am striking out on google. It is similar to the new book "The murder room" about the vidocq society. Any help will be appreciated.

It sounds a lot like Cold Case by Stephen White. I hope this helps.

Lisa Vegan (lisavegan) | 1396 comments Jonathan Kellerman also wrote one like this, I think, but I can't remember which title. I also read a lot of Stephen White but I'm behind with that series; I can't remember if Cold Case is one that I've read.

Ike is better know for his science fiction classics, but he wrote a heck of a mystery yarn as well.

Years since I read this, don't recall the millionaire plot point, but they are a group of men from various backgrounds that solve crimes.

Me too Robert. I really enjoyed White's work but have forgotten about him lately. Glad to help!
