If 4/5 right makes me a constitutional scholar, then I am. I got #5 wrong. I want to know Christine O'Donnell's score. Actually, I'd like to know the scores of everyone running for office this year.

I got two right. The women vote was an educated guess, I am surprised that you got it that early.

Phoenix (phoenixapb) | 1619 comments 3/5 That's what I get for blowing off my Government class in high school.

High Five Barb. :)

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

Well I cheated and googled it Bunny. It still didn't help. :)

message 7: by [deleted user] (new)

It wasn't google that failed. I just failed to recognise the movie it came up with. :)

Sea of Love? The Fly? Robocop?

message 10: by [deleted user] (new)

All of them.

Jaimie (jaimie476) | 664 comments I thought I heard that quote but I cannot remember seeing any movie Ellen Barkin has been in.

As for the test, I'm with you LG. The only one I missed was #5.

Lori

Bwrahahahahaha!! I love that I made movie reference too obscure for Google. Where's KD when you need him?"

Oh no, it did come up on Google right away, but since it's a movie I've been meaning to see, I recognized the name right away.

OK, had to look you up Bun, and also Misha, but who is Betty?

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

Ahhh, I saw Footloose on the weekend. I never pay attention to who the actors are. Maybe I should make a post in the 'things I don't care about?' I don't care enough about the actors to remember their names.

I haven't seen any of those other movies mentioned.

Lori Re: Peter Weller, yes I did, and a very esteemed historian as well. Jake watched his series and said it was excellent.

Um, back to the constitution, 4/5. I got the most recent amendment wrong, against my better judgment. But they were a lot easier than I thought, because I'm no Constitution expert! Altho the Tea Party would like to correct that, by reminding me it is set in stone.

Funny how so many of these Tea Party people don't even know the COnstitution! O'Donnell recently said Oh is that in the 1st amendment? as if it was a very long document she didn't have time to read.

by reminding me it is set in stone.

No, you're thinking of the Ten Commandments.

message 16: by Lori (new)

Lori To them it's the same thing.

message 17: by Phoenix (new)

Phoenix (phoenixapb) | 1619 comments Okay, when I googled the actors it came up with
"The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai and the 8th Dimension"...is that the movie the quote is from? Or has the answer been established and I just missed it?

message 18: by Lori (new)

Lori That's it Betty! It's an old cult classic. Now can I have a treat?

message 22: by Lori (new)

Lori Hahahaha yeah, I'm still not settled on Dino, either. I thought we were doing Flintstones, but that's SO old now!

Phoenix (phoenixapb) | 1619 comments Oh yeah, it was like so 5 min. ago...LMAO...I NEVER thought I would EVER type that statement!

I've seen that test. This was super easy compared to the citizen test.

Ellen Barkin

Was in The Big Easy, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Oceans Thirteen and about 50 others."

Whoo. She was hot in her younger days, Big Easy and Sea of Love era, before she went completely bonkers.

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

Ellen Barkin is still hot, even with the multitudes of plastic surgery she's undergone. Admit it, you wouldn't kick her out of bed. Hell, she might kick you out of bed when she's done with you. I like that...

I want to trim four inches off her hair in that clip...it's a little mangy.

I think you're right, Barb. I've never heard of that movie either but I've heard that quote too.
