What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

These aren't even GOOD books, but I can't for the life of me remember what they are called.

It's a series, about a bunch of teens that live on an island. They ride a ferry to school... There is a brother/sister pair and the brother is blind. His name is Ben.

I've tried all the possible googling I can think of.

Anyone?

I haven't personally read them, but after a bit of googling it seems that the "Making Out" series by Katherine Applegate could fit. Teenagers living on tiny Chatham Island in Maine...making out?

After a little more looking, they used to be called the "boyfriend/girlfriend" series. Which sounds much more familiar.

Now that I know what I was reading when I was twelve... I'm embarrassed. I shouldn't have asked!
