I just started reading both Arus Balik: Sebuah Epos Pasca Kejayaan Nusantara di Awal Abad 16 by Pramoedya Ananta Toer and 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami. I'm not sure which one I end up finishing first, though. Both are equally amazing in its own way!

Artemis Fowl is one of my absolute favorite series :)

Finished The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. Two more to go: The Tale of Despereaux and The Tiger Rising.

Guns, Germs, and Steel is definitely one of my favorite non-fictions, probably second only to Richard Dawkins' The Selfish Gene

I'm currently reading The Fault in Our Stars. People keep saying good things about this book but I don't know, haven't interested to read it until now. So far so good.

Such A Rush was a great book! It took a little time to like it because it was about airplanes. My vocabulary and knowledge about airplanes is not that good.. But it was a very interesting. The drama and romance are enjoyable to read :)

The Fault in Our Stars is an excellent book!! It was very inspiring. Keep reading it.. It will get better :)

I am currently reading nothing - from absolute zero to cosmic oblivion - amazing insight into nothingness. It's a collection of articles from NewScientist writers. So far so interesting (though haven't been so deep into the book)

I'm currently reading The Prestige. It was arrived in late December from TBD. It's about rivalry of two magicians. Christopher Nolan already make a movie from this book, although i just found out that the tension of the "war" is not as lethal as the film. I'm a little bit dissapointed but so far i think it's good.

Reading Darkly Dreaming Dexter series, about a serial killer who only after bad guys. Quite funny even if a tad over the top.

Also reading The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry for group read. Just starting, okay so far.

Reading Fever. I read Wither few years ago and I liked it, but I guess I grew out of YA, I don't enjoy it as much as I used to.

Reading The Gods of Guilt the fifth book in the lincoln lawyer series. Spent the last couple of weeks on a terry pratchett binge read and before that all of lee child's reacher books.

I remember reading the dexter series a couple of years back I think. I agree it was a little over the top but plenty interesting. Felt kinda disappointed by the tv series adaptation though...

recently Im reading One Day, i know its an old book, but I love the movie, so im trying to understand it more by the book.

I'm currently reading Incest by I Wayan Artika. It's a short book but it's quite taxing somehow.

Just finished The Luminaries - mammoth read as it is 800+ pages long but it was well worth it! Definitely Booker worthy and a stand out among Victorian murder mystery novels.

Juggling between Iris Chang's The Rape of Nanking, Marie Lu's Legend (because Chang's book is depressing like s***) and None of Us Were Like This Before.

Have just done with Delirium, which gave me a great reading experience. Currently I'm about to start reading The Storyteller, another novel about Holocaust.

Currently reading The Daylight War, which I ordered from TBD back in September and just arrived this month! This was the longest time I had to wait for a book to arrive from them.

I'm reading And The Mountains Echoed :) it's so beautifully written...

I am currently reading An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth , it's simply awesome!

half Blood Blues is really good! Hope you like it! I'm reading The Gift of Rain since I was amazed by The Garden Of Evening Mists. Tan Twan Eng has become my fav writer! :)

I'm reading Magician because I'm in the mood for some classic epic fantasy, in the farm-boy-saves-the-world vein. This series has been popular for a long time, so I thought I'd give it a try.

@Femmy: I also have Magician in my to-read list. How is it so far? I hope it's not another run-of-the-mill YA, those are not really my cup of tea.

@Anny: I'm at 18% right now and so far nothing really interesting has come up yet. However, it is an old series, so we can't really expect the fast pacing of modern fantasy.

Ren, there are plenty hallal Italian food and easy to make as well.

I have just finished 'The Laundry Man and I am reading Blind Descent: The Quest to Discover the Deepest Place on Earth on page 8 now. It's about scientist(s) exploration to the deepest place on earth, I have to open dictionary more often to understand most of academic words in it. Good practice for my IELTS academic test next month.
