YES! I personally think it's wonderful! I don't usually read mystery because I rarely have the patience and attention span, but surprisingly I can actually get through Cuckoo's Calling and enjoyed it. So yeah, I definitely recommend it!

The hardcover will be released on the 12th of August! I hope that by the end of this month or early next month it will be shelved at Kino or Periplus.

Firda wrote: "I am currently reading Life after Life by Kate Atkinson, I don't know why, but it is such a drag for me to read it (yet I can't help my curiosity on the story o_o)"
Hi Firda. I've been thinking about buying the book. Is it good?

I'm currently reading back to back between Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies by Jared Diamond and One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez. Both were fascinating so far, though it's progressing rather slow because I've been busy these days. :(

It's in my To read list since forever lol.
Every time i want to start theres always another book that suddenly pops up for me to read instead...

message 1500: by Firda (new)

Firda (ffirdafz) | 39 comments @Natasha : the premise is very interesting, the plot is, well, definitely not bad, but I am not sure, it feels just like.. meh. I think the problem is more with me than with the book itself, since after been used to reading classics I just can't bring myself to be carried by the book's narrative style (the turn of speech and so on).

If you are more used to contemporary fiction I think this book is just fine.
