Jim's comment just now reminded me of this.
Sweeter's sister has things in order in case of death, we will take her boys.
My mom has been having these weird, undiagnosable leg pains that she's sure are the start of the end, so she had her will drawn up and made my sister the ... the ... person in charge of that.
It freaked me out. On multiple levels.

I don't have a will. But I started wondering, with Sweet babe and all, should I draw one up?

Jan | 241 comments I have a simple will. Everything I leave behind is divided among my kids.

Thanks for posting on my thread I came back to delete because it was awkwardly just sitting here with 28 views and no replies. :D

Yay, Jan!

Stacia (the 2010 club) (stacia_r) That is so weird, I could have sworn that there was a will thread already because I remember posting on one not too long ago, and I thought it was in this group.

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments "Just the place for a Snark!" the Bellman cried,
As he landed his crew with care;
Supporting each man on the top of the tide
By a finger entwined in his hair.

Félix (habitseven) "Just the place for a Snark! I have said it twice:
That alone should encourage the crew.
Just the place for a Snark! I have said it thrice:
What i tell you three times is true."

Lori Delightful! Who is that? I'm probably so far off but the first I thought was Gilbert and Sullivan.

Dear Painfully Awkward, no I don't have one and have been mentally yelling at myself for at least 15 years. Thanks for wakening that nagging voice. :D

I really really REALLY need to do this.

Yes, you should have a will. You and your husband should also have term life insurance, so that in case one of you dies, the other one will be able to replace the lost income. (I'm assuming you live off both your incomes.) If one of you dies, who will take care of the baby? How will that be paid for, with one lost income? Just think about the expenses you have, and how much of it can be covered by each of your incomes. You should also do this sooner rather than later, as premiums rise with age.

Phil | 11837 comments We have a will we drew up when we still lived in WA. It hasn't been updated since our son was born, so he's officially known as "any future offspring."

Time to get it updated for Utah.
