Chris | 62 comments There are so many, it's hard to choose, but,
WHIP HAND is mine, I think, while my wife, Trish chooses 10lb PENALTY.
Anyway, all of his books are a "must read".

I agree, Chris! They are all definitely "must read" books. I just added my top six favorites to the list, and it was very difficult to choose! Anyone else who wants to vote can vote on my six or add any other favorite of their own. With adding books to the list, what works best for me is finding the book I want to add on my book list, copying the ISBN number, and then pasting it into the "find/add books to the list" box at Listopia.

If anyone has trouble adding a book that they want to vote for, let me know. I've heard reports of the "find/add books to the list" box not showing up for some people.

There is also a list called Best Crime and Mystery Books that has The Danger (added by me) and Blood Sport. The Danger is currently 36 on the list, and Blood Sport is 61. I think Dick Francis should feature higher on a list of Best Mystery Books! He needs some help with additional votes!

Chris | 62 comments Jusr re-read "Trial Run" about the Moscow Olympics and the behind -the scenes mayhem. I wonder what is happening in Beijing?

Caroline | 2 comments I haven't read all of them but my favourite is In the Frame. It is a chase story as well as a mystery, so ebullient - the way the three friends outwit the crooks as a team is a nice change from the way Francis's heroes are so often isolated and lonely - and yet in the background are all the unanswered questions about the protagonist's own rather stalled, lonely life when he isn't chasing crooks. Fascinating stuff.

Lissa Oliver | 12 comments High Stakes was my first, so will always be a favourite, but for the characters, I have close joint-seconds in Bonecrack, Flying Finish and Slay Ride. As Knockdown influenced my career choice while still at school, maybe I should have voted for that - a life changer!
