Brittany Vibbert | 2 comments Mr.Patterson, I have a really great story and when I kept reading your messages on 'Outline' tried it. well because of your advice I have been able to really start my story, and now I am currently writing my chapter 4. so thank you so much for helping me get out of the thinking state, and really setting down what I wanted in my story. And with all my idea's going in outline form i realized that I had more to my story than i really thought. I am a fan, and you are an great inspiration. Thank you. OH, and please keep writing your Daniel X series.
-Brittany

David jones | 7 comments I got another question. So when I start writing, I usually have ideas in my head and I'm usually good with making the first chapter or two, but then I usually drag out some of it, or rush the boring stuff to get to some action. What do I do to stop from doing that?

sonya marie madden | 1 comments as someone who has been in a mental ward, yes they are locked down, but patients are admitted at different times ALL the time. some people have religious delusions, schitzphrenic episodes. I was in there for depression and anxiety.
I am also a writer. It's scary with out of control (people off medication) mental patients in society. I put my characters in unreal situations. not every mental patient goes and stabs someone if their off their meds.
Part of it is author imagination and part is fact or experience.

Pam Funke | 2 comments What advice would you offer to a newly published author? Would you ever consider doing a book review for a new author? If so, what would the author need to do?

message 122: by Abhishek (new)
