Abby | 70 comments Ok... so I've been looking for a certain book for a while now... Can't for the life of me remember the name of the book OR Author but what I do remember is this:

It was basically about this man and woman from two different dimensions... He gets her from her world , takes her to his... then she's later got to decide if she wants to go back to her own dimension or stay with him in his... If I remember right it had a bluish cover I believe.. I could be wrong though... This sound familliar to any of you?

It's really simple. Inbox me your email and I'll send you over instructions on how to do. Tell me how far you are with book #2 and I'll send you book #3. Amazon only gives you 14 days to read it...pooh on them.

I'm single so I wasn't embarassed to sniffle and okay, there might have been tears, while reading this story. It was gooooood but very emotional...especially the latter part of the book. That part just shredded me to pieces.

That sounds like something I've read. But it could be so many books. The one I read, he was a Irish laird who was a werewolf trapped, because of a curse, in an alternate dimension but freed by a virgin on the other side...

Karen Marie Moning also writes a lot of those multi-dimensional book. I know that's what her Highlander series was all about.

 * Kazzy * -aka Stryker- (krazzykaz) ... God Fang! I'm a sucker for a sad one, if it's that sad I will defo be sobbing! Better buy in some extra tissues when I get to that one!

Yes Michelle I'm still up! Am going in a minute though cos I'm reading Cat and Bones ... Gotta start getting thru them, these ladies are getting me all intrigued now lol!

message 68: by Maria (new)

Maria | 135 comments This is a long shot. All I know the author is Lisa Kleypas (LK), I think its a contemporary romance (not sure though). I think the heroine was treated badly by her husband and she starts a new life but is hesitant and doesn't trust the the new man(hero) interested in her.

That's it, I think the LK fans would know the name of the book

message 72: by Komal (new)

Komal Hi guys, I'm looking for a book I saw on Google books a long while ago.
The hero and his brother lost their mother when they were young and were left with an abusive father. The opening scene was their mother dying and the hero (older brother) being whipped by his father. Once they got older, he younger brother (Hugh? I'm not sure of his name) was going to marry the heroine but she ended up marrying the older brother. The book was a historical romance.
I've been looking for this book for a few years now and can't seem to find it. The details I have are a bit fuzzy, but that's all I can remember. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, just let me know :) Thanks!

Hi Komal. Does the book involve the heroine being pregnant by the younger brother? I can think of a couple with that theme.

It could be possible.

Carolyn | 175 comments I now Komal is looking for a book and I hope you find it but... this got me to thinking there is a book that I read a long time ago that I would like to read again.
It's about a women who is in a car accident and dies hitting a tree on a back country road (think in England or Scotland), but it sent back in time to the same place. She has the car keys from the accident and they are referred to a lot in the book. She is found by the hero and through out the book keeps trying to convince him that she is from the future. She ends up getting married and pregnant and having the baby but it's a hard delivery. I know it's vague but that is all that I can remember. Any help after Komal would be great.

Oklahoma Sweetheart
The Way Home
His Secondhand Wife

Hi Jady.

Not too many romances that I can think of with human assassins. They are usually more like spies.

But definitely check out the Ice series by Anne Stuart:

Black Ice
Ice Blue
Cold As Ice
Ice Storm
Fire And Ice

Jessie posted about this book:

Hi, i've been looking for a book for ages and i don't know if you can help me
To begin, there is a boy and girl, college sweethearts I think he's in college to be a lawyer and I think she might be in for a counciler??
Anyway she gets pregnant but he doesn't want the baby so says get rid of it or he'll break up with her. She obviously leaves.
He has a change of heart when she's giving birth and goes to the hospital but she's her with another man...he then leaves without speaking to her
Years later he sees a little girl in a shop with her babysitter and thinks ' oh that's my child or some think like that, and it carries on from there.
I really hope you can help me find it

message 93: by Emma (new)

Emma (jellicoe112) | 7 comments Hi all. I'm a relative newcomer to PNR and have the annoying habit of having to read books that belong to a series in order. So, having just finished the latest in the yumfest that is the Black Dagger Brotherhood, I am looking to read the book that Barrons appears in (and I'm totally willing to read it out of order if it is one of a series). Fell madly in lust with him reading some of his quotes but have no idea which book or author he belongs to. Please help me my fellow addicts, I'm missing out on Barrons goodness!!!

Lily (lilxbrowneyez) | 7 comments I'm looking for a book about hero warrior (military) who's job is to protect a woman. He takes her away to a safe house hideaway that also has a full training facility. He's military. He tries hard to train her with the obstacle course, over and over pushing her harder. She runs away. He realizes he can't treat her the same as of the the guys like himself. Someone is trying to kill her? I'm trying to find out if this is part of a series or a single book.

message 98: by Duchess Nicole (new)

Duchess Nicole | 154 comments I know this is an absolute long shot, but...

When I was a young teen, I used to check out this series of books from the library. It was a young adult historical romance series. Each book was titled, I think, as the name of the heroine of that book. I'm pretty sure that each book was set in the US. I thought that one of the books was named Carrie, but I can't find it anywhere. That particular book had a young teen who lived in colonial America and her village is attacked by Indians. She falls in love with one of the young braves who saves her... I 'think' that the publisher or printer label at the top of the cover was an orange sunset type picture, along with the words "Sunfire" or "Sundown" or something like that. Any ideas?

message 99: by Duchess Nicole (new)

Duchess Nicole | 154 comments Oh my gosh! Disregard that post...I totally just found the series, and I'm so excited. Just the covers bring back so many memories!!

Amanda (Sunfire, #1) by Candice F. Ransom Caroline (Sunfire, #7) by Willo Davis Roberts Cassie (Sunfire, #14) by Vivian Schurfranz Emily (Sunfire, #11) by Candice F. Ransom Marilee (Sunfire, #9) by Mary Francis Shura
