Are you afraid of heights?

I'm not afraid of heights, although I have faint memories of a helicopter ride in my pre-teen years that I've almost completely blocked out. My gf is deathly afraid of heights and hates when I'm motivated to climb things and walk to the edge of cliffs when we go hiking.
I'm afraid of man made heights. I don't like being on towers, in elevators, on top of buildings, or on upper stories of tall buildings.
I don't have a problem with cliffs or tall mountains, even ropes courses are ok while I'm in the trees or connected by a rope.
That video made my feet and palms seriously sweat in fear.

my fav comment of the day
I might be able to do the first part - where he seems to be climbing inside some type of cage. If I'm surrounded by walls I'll feel better. But the free climbing part, no way. The last 60 feet is insane. And then at the top, standing on a platform no wider than his two feet. Pass.

Oh yea! I did the stupid. I went on one of those large bungee/swing rides at an amusement park with my niece and her boyfriend. I wanted to cry 1/2 way up!!
Go ahead and laugh. My husband did. And I do now that time has gone by.
Though at the time, when I finally got off the &%&)#)# ride, my legs were so shaky, I had to sit down immediately.
Sad to say, now I'm more afraid then before.

My husband and I stood on the top of Tokyo Tower in Japan and I loved the area that had a glass floor. I couldn't even get my husband to walk over it. He's terrified of things like that.

I love heights, love the sensation falling.
Where I may have trouble is the wind. High winds make me anxious.

I'm still fighting off the dizziness from watching that video!
