When you do the search it is the most popular edition that is displayed in the result which is not the one you provided the link for.

If you to to the series page, search - this is the edition that is the most popular. Using this edition will automatically add series info to other editions

That's quite absurd in my humble opinion.
This way it's not always possible to connect books from the same edition, language, and so on. :/

All editions are connected - it is generally the most popular shelved edition that is displayed any searches.

You can select the actual edition you want on your book shelf but looking at the other editions on the books page. This includes editions in different languages

You can type (or cut and paste) the ISBN into the search box.
