Nicole (nickolean) Basically a Cowboy/Outlaw who is either wanted/condemned/running-out-of-options steals the identity of the man he is travelling with when the man dies. The man is travelling to meet a woman who he is going to marry who he had never met and all the cowboy knows about her is in some of the letters the man was carrying. Unknown to him is that the woman also died and a prostitute in an inn/brothel/do-not-remember decides to take her identity too. Eventually the secret comes out and they fall in love of course.

I do remember that it is a series and that it does have some very christian themes in it.

SPOILER:
In a later book the woman and cowboy marry and they have twins but I cannot remember any names at all.

I think I read it in grade 6 or 7 so a long time ago. I think the age range would be YA since I do remember that there was no really sexual scenes even though she was a prostitute. It might be for adults though seeing as it was a very Christian oriented book.

Since it was so long ago I cannot remember anything about the names, the book jackets, or the author and I know its a long shot but its not like I read it at a public library and I can go searching for it. I read it at a private school that closed down and I have no idea what they did with all the books.

Any help would be much appreciated even if it is just towards a place that might have more answers.

Nicole (nickolean) and to find that out, during reading break I went back to my hometown and visited my elementary school. I said it was a western and in a series and the Librarian went and grabbed two books and one of them was the right one.

God Bless Librarians!
