Child of the Northern Spring: Book One of the Guinevere Trilogy"
I was just going to ask about this book. I have it on my Kindle!

Yes, Guinevere is part of the Arthur legend so it is celtic also.

Absolutely....

Yes, they both work

Yes, they are fine.

Yes, it seems to be another take on the Avalon legends

YES!! This sounds like a wonderful book. I will have to see if I can find it somewhere here.

From the description Here Be Dragons seems to be more history than celtic mythology.
After consideration, I will allow Hood, it isn't really based on celtic mythology, since Robin Hood is a more modern myth, but I didn't specify ancient or modern mythology so I will allow it.

Yes Irish is Celtic

I don't see a connection to Celtic Mythology

The Book of Three and the rest of the series are based on Celtic mythological themes. Many of the characters and situations are direct descendants of Irish and/or Welsh myths.

and for part A, could we read a book of Celtic Myths? like an anthology of myths?

What about -- A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court or Bloodfever. I found Bloodfever on the Library Thing list, but I'm not sure if it'll work... Thanks! ;o)

Beth NC -- Mists is so memorable. The miniseries didn't live up to the books. Did you read the two MZB books based off Atlantis and Troy?
Also, the Daughter of the Forest series is WONDERFUL for Part A - the Celtic "swans" myth.

Yes, any book about King Arthur will work"
Fantastic!

Mists has been on my TBR pile for forever! I'm going to put it in this challenge somewhere I'm pretty sure (it fits a few other tasks as well). But I want to read Bloodfever, too. I always have this problem. There are just too many interesting books out there that I want to read! ;o)

Examples: anything about King Arthur, Celtic Myths and Legends, Daughter of the Forest, Morrigan's Cross, The Mists of Avalon, Druids. This list might help, too -- Tagged as Celtic Mythology.
