So yeah hi everyone!

I recently read Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder. It was a really good book and I highly recommend it. I'm also currently reading Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and The Bourne Identity by Robert Ludlum.
This group already looks like it's gonna be awesome, Annabelle! :D

I just finished Blue Bloods and Masquerade. They were both pretty good. Umm I'm in love with guys from my own novel (: Zarcentyl and Sivvion. I'm eight chapters in, and discussing it with a fellow young adult author!! I bet this group is gonna be great! ^-^

Heyy, I'm Lou, short for Louise but don't ever call me that. >:/ Books that I love, well that's as challenge. I love Inkheart by Cornelia Funke, Fried Green Tomatoes by Fannie Flag and anything by Kurt Vonnegut. But the big book/short stories. . .SHERLOCK HOLMES!
I'm working on a comic book series and then I have a short story called Never Let Me Go. Someday, I would like to write a kid's novel about either talking cats or mice. Don't ask.
((I love editing XXD))

BTW Ariel is a pretty awesome name. XD
And I'm going to do a lot of writing over break. I have this new idea that I'm trying to test out. Actually, I'm thinking I might post what I have in my thread, see what you guys think? Maybe? No? We shall see.
Anybody else writing over break?
And welcome to all other new people. Woot!

Thanks Lou! And hello new repliers! Im plannig to do some writing to over break! so wish me luck and i wish all the other writers luck and an overproductive stream of words!
And question for you all:
Okay i have this new idea and i'm trying to decide between the two titles i've come up with. Heres a some-what summary:
Theres the girl (whose name i havent decided) whose father is one of the souths most notorious plantation owners. He buys more slaves and his daughter (the girl) falls in love with one. Eventually her parents find out about it and kills the slave. She goes on a rampage. She plots to kill the ten most notorious slave owners of the south, including her father.
If you dont like either of those titles feel free to suggest some in a comment :)
Here are the titles:
1. Black, White, and Shades of Grey
2. The Slave Owner's Daughter

Anyway it is so nice to find a writing section on here and I look forward to reading/writing and chatting with you :)

Hello.
My name is Holly, but I typically go by HR, which are my first and middle intials. I have been writing since I was eleven and enjoy reading as well. When I read someone else's work, I attempt to be honest with my criticism, offering both what is good about the work and what needs improvement. Sometimes I don't find anything; other times, I do.
I recently finished two romantic/suspense books, one by Carla Neggers; the other by Judith McNaught. I am currently reading three books as sort of a challenge to myself while I'm away from work for the holidays (until Jan. 4th).
I posted the first chapter of "The Absence of Falling Stars" today, and am a relatively new member to this site.

Hello, all.

i wish i really belong to this group...
and glad to meet you all...

My name is Ashley. I am 20 years old. I am in college majoring in criminal justice. I would like to become a prosecutor. I love to read, write, and I have always loved to. I mostly like to read YA in which I am currently reading "L.A. Candy" by Lauren Conrad. I am also currently writing my own book too. One is about cutting and the other is about domestic violence. When I was a sophomore in high school, my English teacher assigned the class to write a book about an issue that faces teens today. I chose cutting because I am a survivor myself and also because, I can write about how it starts, what goes on in the person's head, and I can write about this maturely, even my teacher said that I did. My book received an A and now I am rewriting it and adding more to it.
My advice to anyone who wants to write, let your mind wonder first on what you want to write, it can be about anything. Explore everything.

ohh also I'd love feedback on writing! Here's the link to it!!

I'm a semanticist, and I won't hesitate to explain the difference between what was written and what I believe was meant to be written -- It's a gift and a curse.
My motto in my writing is if my text doesn't have subtext, than neither do I, so my work can be a bit chewy at times. But I don't plan to post anything on this forum until I've paid some dues and written some criticisms for ya'll.

Nice to meet you, Josh! I'm looking forward to reading your writing. I'm sure it's awesome. :DDD
Hi, I'm Carlin. I've been writing for about seven or eight years, mostly dabbling in fan fiction, and here and there with some original fiction. :) I've got a lot of things I'd like constructive criticism on, including characters and unfinished story plots. :)

I am Sameer from India. (http://itsaflog.wordpress.com/)
Have been working on a novel since ages; plan to finish it in coming weeks/months.
I have also started posting some short stories on the following url, so that can get a feedback from the community. Do make a short visit.

I'm Annabelle! Lately, I read Guardian of the Gate by Michelle Zink, which you should all read. Anyway, I decided that I really love the character she introduces, Dimitri Markov. So I took his last name. ((:
You can call me Belle, Bella, Annie, or Anna. I don't like being called Anne, though.
That is all!! Hello!!
