Lucas thrust his spear through every one of the dummies he passed with murderous aggression. He imagined each one as a different thing he hated, and the poor things were pulverized in seconds. But Lucas kept on going, despite his pegasus' whinnies of complaint.
On his steel grey mare, Ajax was decidedly less ferocious with his weapon and more day-dreamy. He had on his thoughtful expression, though the sight of Lucas playing kebab with the dummies snapped him out of it. "What's up?"
((Can Ajax and Lucas just be cool with each other? :3))

((Yepperz. ^^))
Lucas found this to be a little amusing, seeing as up was the sky and they were in it, but his laugh came out bitter. "Just trying to get on with my life while girls b*tch at everyone," he replied breezily, spearing another target. "Damn, girls suck."

"I think you should give your pegasus a rest," Ajax advised, guiding his own mare down and motioning for Lucas to follow. "But yeah. Anything you want to talk about?" He raised an eyebrow, slipping down from the mare and leaning against her.
Lucas reluctantly followed, but he didn't have much of choice because Cherry had eagerly accepted the invitation. Dismounting the pegasus, he sighed and shrugged. "I got a noob in my cabin, and something's up with my girlfriend. I dunno, I'm in a bad mood."
Ajax blew hair from his mouth so it ruffled his bangs. "Just tell her the three magic words," he advised. "You were right. Or was she completely in the wrong? And they won't be a noob for long, I'm guessing."
"Pfft, I'm not going to tell her what I don't believe, screw that," Lucas said, raising a brow at him as if he were nuts. "I don't appease people, I mean, she was the one who got all riled up first."
"Okay... well.. what happened?" Ajax asked, inching a little away from the rage radiating from the boy.
"Just some stupid arguement," Lucas replied dissmissively, shrugging. "I don't know, she'll get over it or something."
"Myra," Lucas said in a mumble, his anger simmering down. He ran a hand through his curls, his lips out in a pout-like expression.
((FOR YOU. <3))
"What?" Lucas glanced at him sideways, bringing his pout in to bite his lip. "What?" he repeated, more demanding this time.

"Let's just say that the expression Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned is all too true for that particular case," Ajax said, shaking his head.
"Pfft," Lucas scoffed, walking Cherry into her stall. "Whatever. Man, I've got another girl who wants to kill me, too. Some girl of Eros, and this time it wasn't even my fault!"
"So it was your fault for Myra, huh," Ajax said with a raised eyebrow, grinning at Lucas. "Funny. You're not a ladies' man at all, are you."
"I have a freaking fan group, man," Lucas said with a heavily drawn out sigh, arching a brow at Ajax. "But I'm no good with the ladies, the ones who don't want me want to kill me. Example A, most of the Athena cabin."
"Well... I suppose it goes both ways. Example A, your girlfriend," Ajax said, his expression turning even more thoughtful at the mention of the Athena cabin.
"She can't kill me, I'm the better fighter. Ah, whatever," Lucas shrugged again, this time dismissing it completely. "What's up with you?" he asked this suspiciously, noticing an odd kind of change in Ajax.
"Girl trouble doesn't just apply for those of us with a fanclub," Ajax said teasingly, smiling faintly.
((If only you knew, Joshie. If only you knew.))
((If only you knew, Joshie. If only you knew.))
((I got weird looks from laughing so hard.))
"What happened to Mr. 'Single and read to mingle'?" Lucas asked, a groan escaping him as he tilted his head. Dammit, Andromeda. He still had that pain in his neck from their little sparring match.

Ajax actually chuckled. "I'll pretend not to notice that your neck seems to be in agonizing pain and answer your question: Holly and I are dating. I think."
((LOL. xD Literally.))
((LOL. xD Literally.))
"It's not agonizing," Lucas grumbled irritably, trying to convince himself as well. His eyes widened in disbelief, "The chick that wants to kick my @ss?" He whistled, leaning against a stable and giving a chuckle. "She's, ah, she's something."
"She was also previously going out with Caspar van der Lewsen," Ajax said with a quirk of his lips. "Yes, she's... she's something."
"Oh, yeah, I heard that. What, did she realize how insane he was?" Lucas asked with a snicker.
"I... no, actually, we've been friends for a really long time. We fought and didn't speak for a while until this summer. And it turns out it's a bad time for the both of us," Ajax said with a heavy sigh, thinking of Rose and her multicoloured eyes. "Caspar's sister's got a thing for me and I had to put her down. I feel terrible."
"Then why didn't you go for the Dionysus girl? That would have made things easier," Lucas said, deciding that's what he would if he was in this situation.
"Because I've been in love with Holly forever, you dolt," Ajax said, playfully shoving Lucas, a little tinge of red brightening his pale cheeks.
Leeanne walked to the paddock with her chocolate brown pegasus. Her hair looked bright red in the sun. She smiled at the boys, friendly. "Hello," she said
"Well, I didn't know that," Lucas said defensively, pretending to stumble back from the shove. "Sheesh. Wait--Isn't she the Red Team's captain...?" He trailed off with a laugh at the irony, throwing his head back. "I can't wait to see you do that."
"Hardy har har," Ajax said drily, nodding hello at the girl. "It'll be interesting, I grant you that. At least my team hasn't lost a counsellor," he said, raising his eyebrows.
Then understanding made his jaw drop.
"Lucas, you're screwed."
Then understanding made his jaw drop.
"Lucas, you're screwed."
Lucas' laughter faded, and he stared at Ajax with a puzzled look. "What, man? What? Why am I screwed?" he asked, shooting out questions the way he did when he didn't understand something.
"Myra's the junior Hebe counsellor," Ajax said in a very slow, deliberate voice, like trying to explain things to a mentally challenged four year old. "Chiron was talking to Big D about the junior Hebe counsellor leaving camp earlier today. I assume this has something to do with you."
She mounted her pegasus. She flew against the sky.
"Whhhaaaaat?" Lucas drawled this out scoffingly, defiantly, he didn't believe this. Psh, he'd probably heard wrong or something, Myra wouldn't leave without telling him.
Oh, but she had.
And with a jolt he put the two together--the arrow. "F*CK." He stared at Ajax, as if expecting him to say something helpful or say: "Naw, man, I was just screwing with you."

Lucas had convinced himself that he was being punked or this was some kind of joke--but there was that reasonable part of him that was freaking out, alarms bells going off in his head. "Dammit, I have to go," he blurted hurriedly. "Good look with the girl, you'll need it," he added, a knowing glint flashing in his dark eyes before he turned and walked off, the dumbstruck look on his face.
"Er, bye," Ajax called. "You too-- seems like you need it more than I do," he muttered, half to himself.
Leeanne looked down, watching Lucas walk away from a distance. He looked upset. Most children of Ares were angry, but upset was a different matter. Poor Lucas, she thought to herself.
"Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack." Ajax probably felt her before he heard her--Her being Holly as she came up behind him and jumped onto his back. She had wiped away all signs of crying and sadness, though misery was still planted in her eyes.
"Hello there!" Ajax said with a laugh, twirling around. "I can't see you," he said after a moment, craning his neck around to look at her.
"Open your eyes, smart one," Holly said in an as a matter-of-factly tone, feeling her spirits lighten already. Huh. Maybe I'm bipolar.
"There we go," Ajax said with a smile, kissing her quickly. "There's that face I've missed so much."
Holly slid off of his back, spinning to the front of him and theatrically falling into his arms. "We're free," she said, staring up at him with big, blue eyes and waggling her brows suggestively. "I told him."
Through the relief, Ajax's face closed. "Is he alright? I should probably go and talk to him," he mused, placing Holly upright.
She threw a javelin at one target. She kept throwing her weapons until she ran out. She retrieved the weapons and continued.
"What?" Holly stared at him as if he were insane. "I'm pretty sure that's going to make things worse...seeing as he wants me to keep the f*ck away from him." She said this last part with a bitter smile, looking out at the lake and shaking her head. "I knew he'd hate me."
"I doubt he hates you, Holly, think about this from his perspective," Ajax said gently. "He's just confused and in shock-- and obviously hurt."
"He wouldn't let me explain," Holly said, her formerly smiling face turned down into a guilty frown. "I did something wrong, I probably said something stupid," she continued with the high-pitched voice she got when getting emotional.
