☽ Rhiannon ✭ Mistwalker ☾ (pnr_list) | 133 comments I'm sitting here, looking at my copy of Dreamfever from the library, which is due January 4th. I haven't cracked it yet, but I've heard all about the excruciating cliffhanger at the end. Without spoiling anything, can people somehow communicate to me whether it is worth waiting to read it and incurring book fines in order to be able to go right out and get the next book? I can't really afford it but I suspect that I won't be able to wait once I've read Dreamfever and the wait at the library for the new one will be long.

It's ridiculous that I am so preoccupied with scheming about how best to go about this. Can anyone give me some insight?

Mariya (cr6zym0nkeyiz) | 157 comments it's not that long of a wait now, only a month, but their is a big cliffhanger and some have been waiting way over a year. The cliffhanger made me want the last book right away, but all cliffhanger's make you want that. I would just read your library copy but that is up to you. like after faefever, how could I not read dreamfever right away. but of course it is up to you.

Dee (austhokie) do you knwo if your library is going to have a copy of shadowfever...maybe get your name put on the waitlist for it right now (if its not already super insane)

Mandy Beyers (mandybeyers) | 34 comments I plan to pre-order the e-book - I was the first person to check the last one our from the library, so I feel like I've been waiting forever! Love this series!

Dee (austhokie) the ebook is available for pre-order now on amazon and I believe B&N (depending on which reader you have for 9.99

☽ Rhiannon ✭ Mistwalker ☾ (pnr_list) | 133 comments I'm already on the waitlist, second in line, but it's not as though the library will have it on the day it is released, they have to acquire it and catalog it. And then what if the person ahead of me keeps it for the whole three weeks! :O

Mariya (cr6zym0nkeyiz) | 157 comments all of the ebooks for SF are 9.99...ugh...I will probally get both the ebook and actual print book. ...

I know what you mean about the library, it could be a month or two before they even send it to the first person on the waiting list...which sucks, if you want to read it right away I would buy it. b/c you will not be getting it right away.

My library always has the book available on the day of release, I wonder why I never thought about the admin stuff before. But this is a book that I would definitely order, it is not worth messing around and delaying! Although Shadowfever through my system already has a very long wait.

If it were me, I would go ahead and read Dreamfever now. It may cause you to do a re-read of the entire series or make you want to read the Moning's Highlander series. This is a situation (IMO) where good things don't come from waiting!
